Amazing picture and sound, JVC beats out all TVs I've seen, Movies and PS4/Nintendo games look awesome, best TV ever
Very good price and shows an excellent picture! I'm loving it!!
Very pleased with the tv works great and good picture
So far so good..nice price..picture..works great with Amazon fire stick!!
I have had this TV for three weeks. While the sound is OK, it could be a lot better. But, just about all big screen thin TV's made today have subpar speakers. You will need to purchase an external speaker source. Hint: If you add an external speaker (soundbar), be sure to turn the volume all the way down on the TV speakers. If you leave the TV speakers on, they will bleed thru to the external speaker source causing it to sound nearly as bad as the TV speakers. Again, turn the volume all the way down. If you "mute" the speakers, the mute image will be imposed on the TV screen. The picture will need to be adjusted to your taste. I originally brought a Hisense TV. Returned it because I did not like the Roku feature. Brought a RCA TV and had to return it because I could not get it to pair with my DIRECTV remote. The good thing about the JVC TV is that it only cost me 300.00. Wish now that I had kept the Hisense because it had a superior picture and much better speakers. I brought the JVC TV because of its name. What a mistake that was. Earlier JVC products made in the 70's were a lot better compared to today's JVC products.
Picture is pretty decent. Sound leaves a little to be desired. We ended up buying soundbar only to discover no optical out on TV, so we had to use headphone jack to RCA converter? Not ideal. For the money, it's an OK TV.
Good picture and sound but for a smart TV you have no control over the apps which isn't any good.
This TV was used to replace a dead DLP Mitsubishi that had finally given up. For the money, it serves it's purpose. Paired with a PS4 Pro and only used for movies and netflix and a few games, it works well enough and the quality is fine so far...not high end by any means but it's a budget TV. My issue is the "smart" part of the whole thing. Wi Fi connection is abysmal (PS4 is connected fine but the TV just won't pick up the router well) and it won't connect to the internet at all. With no manual and a little playing around, I was able to get a SSL connect fail message. I'm assuming it is either the weak Wi Fi signal (again, the PS4 is showing 84% signal and runs fine) or a firmware issue. Well...since I can't connect for an update, I looked into a USB update. There must be one....there's an option for it in the menu. Can't find any mention at all of firmware updates online. Guess it's a good thing I don't need an internet connected TV. Honestly....this is probably a $250 TV at best.
Died didn't have it 2 years . Don't buy it
This is absolutely ridiculous. I've have problems with the remote for this TV since THE DAY I got it. The box was crushed in a few places. Now I've got red, green, and blue lines going from the top to the bottom of the screen. It has sat in the same place since I bought it a month or two ago! I went to the exact web address on the warranty page I got with the TV. It said the page was not found. Before I ordered it, Wal-Mart said it came with a year warranty. Now I can't get anywhere with it. I feel like I've wasted my money for nothing. Thanks Wal-Mart and JVC. I should sue.
