We had this tv delivered this past Monday and so far we are thrilled with it. The picture is beautiful, the built in Roku is super convenient and it is a big tv but lightweight enough that is was a breeze to install.
The tv itself was in good shape. Was a little worried as the box was crushed upon arrival however it was packages well and undamaged. However.... It's a smart voice tv and the company doesn't give you a voice capable remote with it.. just the standard Roku TV remote. Other than that it is a good TV with clear picture and amazing sound quality.
It was delivered on 1/31/2020 and QUIT on 4/19/2020. We were watching the television when the picture faded away to blue nothingness. After 4 months of multiple calls dealing with the warranty, we are still awaiting a refund after it was diagnosed "unrepairable". We have been awaiting resolution longer than we actually used the product! I will not buy JVC products in the future and do not recommend this television.
DO NOT BUY THIS TV! I purchased mine on 12/20/19. I really liked the tv and ROKU features but it died.I had it safely hanging on a bedroom wall and the screen died in the middle of the night (we sleep with the tv on). It died on 9/1/2020 so only 9 months in use. Called JVC, on hold for almost 2 hours. They needed me to send pictures of the screen so I did. There response was that "they" determined it was caused by physical damage therefore voiding the warranty. Like I said it was working when we went to sleep and died overnight. I will never buy JVC again.
This TV SUCKS. I have had it just over a year and it died on me. Customer Service is horrible. DO NOT EVER BUY A JVC TV. This is the worst experience with an electronic I have ever had. Ridiculous.
Bought 2 of these TV's. One went blank after 10 months. Thought the issue was only with the one but a couple months later the 2nd TV went blank as well. Won't ever by a JVC TV again. Very upset.
I bought this TV in March 2020 it has been good until December 3rd when it stoped showing pictures and went blank. Any Idea how I can solve the problem..
Tv picture and sound went out right after a year and 4 months and of course 1 year warranty expired after that! So out of $500 for the TV! I would recommend not buying. Not worth it.
Bought this TV Jan 2020 and it went out completely on Feb 21st 2021. No sound. No picture. Unreal terrible quality television. Used to love JVC ..now I will stay away from all things JVC.
Buyer beware! I had high hopes for this JVC/Romulo combo and was let down on many fronts. To start the navigation is slow and the Roku feels like its a gem 1. After 2 weeks we adjusted to the slower speeds only to be disappointed to the the fullest when the JVC just gave up and refused to turn on. All we could get was a glitchy light blue pulse in the right side of the screen. The only good thing is Walmart honored the return/exchange policy and we opted for the 70 TCL for the replacement.
