This product is awesome. The clarity of sound is better than any other Pioneer on the market and for the price you cant beat it. Also the preout are at a true 5.0 volts. A great item to purchase.

The Pros : Walmart has this unit at the lowest price on the market. It is the newest model which enticed me buy this unit. This head unit packs a lot of features for a great price compared to many of its competitors. For me it was all about the Apple Carplay. I like the feature of the Apple Carplay being wireless and while not used much it features a disc player, not found in many price point competing models. The setup was rather easy and it connects fairly quick. I like the 5 volt pre-amps and could tell it made a slight difference to my amp. 2 USB ports are great, except you can't utilize an older iPod Classic in the glove box, it just doesn't work with this radio at all. So I don't really think 2 were necessary if they don't work with older devices. The screen has a nice finish even in bright sunlight in comparison to my old JVC KW-V230BT that came in my Hummer. Cons : Customer support is beyond terrible. I have a rear mounted back up camera that we use all of the time in the Hummer (Big vehicle). My wife likes having the grid lines visible, making it easier to park. With this model there was not a way to adjust them down like on the previous JVC model this one replaced. While the feature shows in the menu, the back up camera will not display on the screen to adjust it downward. Customer support was quite rude, did not want to help me and literally hung up on me. I thought maybe it was just the rep I spoke too, so I gave them a call on several occasions and was met with the same demeanor of each rep. They could use a retraining in customer service. I was infuriated to the point that I will be returning this product and purchasing an Alpine unit with a few less features but better support. I was really disappointed in JVC inability to help me render a solution to fix a small solution. I also did not like the fact that I could have an option to have the bass come gradually with the volume, it was either full on or off. That is a pain at lower volume. Another small gripe I have is that I am not a big fan of screen disclaimers every time I start the vehicle. This unit gives you warning each time it powers on, it goes away at the tap of a button or after 10 seconds. This may be minor but completely unnecessary. I am an experienced car audio installer and was shocked with he lack of service JVC gave . With the issues I experienced and the lack of support, I could not in good conscienceless recommend this product nor any of their other products to anybody. That being said, I am returning the unit for a refund and replacing it with an Alpine ixl-w650 that comes with KTA-450 mini amp and Sirius XM tuner for about $150.00 cheaper than this unit, now that is value from a good company with good support. I will continue to purchase from Walmart.com as they have great prices and service. This review is not reflective on Walmart in anyway.
