I never write reviews but wanted to share that this actually works. I've tried dozens of volumizing shampoos/conditioners and so glad I didn't give up b/c this one ACTUALLY WORKS. I have fine hair that's slightly wavy and all I ever want is voluminous, tousled hair, and this gives it to me, even after I sleep on it, even on the 2nd day. (I wash every other day.) I use this with the volumizing conditioner and Air Dry Cream. Also, I love the smell - very important. I had been using LolaVie restorative shampoo and conditioner, which makes my hair look very healthy, but also weighs my hair down in ways I didn't realize. Thank you JVN. Love everything you stand for and your products.

I follow JVN's advice to use leave in conditioner, followed by this and then the blowout milk, then I blow dry my hair with a Dyson hairdryer. Each product and each step is worth it. It's crazy how much better my hair looks (my husband is the biggest fan of the final product and thanks JVN for his wife with hot hair!)

My hair is straight and very thick. All my life, it was super hard to get my hair to be anything but straight. Sleeping in braids, heat curling it, hair spray, brand name products -- whatever, none of it was good enough to last more than, like, a few hours. Using this product every time I blow dry my hair has been the easiest and most consistent way for me to have pretty waves in my hair. I just apply 2 pumps of the Styling Milk, blow dry my hair until 90% dry and claw clip it for a couple of hours, and my waves look beautiful all day and even in between washes. When I look at myself in the mirror, it's as though wavy is my natural texture because that's how strong the hold is.

This is a great product. It turns my normally frizzy curls into frizz-free ringlets! I like to apply it immediately after showering onto wet hair, then I let my hair air dry for 10 or 15 minutes, and then I use my diffuser to finish drying and to give my hair more body.

This is my favorite curl product I've found so far for my daughter. I wanted 1 product that she could use after a shower, she is 12 and plays sports every day. This is it. She can do it herself and it adds such definition and frizz control. So many people commented on her hair after using this. We don't have the time or desire right now to do a full curl process with two+ products and a diffuser etc every couple days. This was worth the price.

I admit, the main reason I tried this product is because I love JVN's hair and their work on QE. My kids and I laughed and cried with JVN over the years. So as I went through menopause and was struggling with changes to me hair, I happened to hear JVN on Financial Feminist podcast. I looked up their line of products and thought I'd give it a try. WOW! I'm so glad I did! My hair is fuller and has more body and shine then it has in years. It feels better when I run my hands through it and I love the gentle earthy scent. I'll be picking up some for my kids and sending it to them, sweet memories of home and our time with JVN and the QE crew - and gorgeous hair to boot!

There is so much to love about this product and one thing that needs improvement. The promise of no crunchy curls is true! The problem is for people with coarse hair the hold is just not enough. I have to use this product with another product so it's another step. Not sure what you can do about this. I imagine for people with less thick coarse hair the product works great. The shine from the product is pretty good and the frizzy flyaways are much better with this product.

The container lid is a little flimsy and mine was dented when it arrived so for the price point that was a let down. Smell is good but nothing "addictive" and the product works but it doesn't "save my hair" I was really hoping this would be the thing but it's really just fine so the cost brings the rating down for me.

i honestly saw the instagram and bought on a whim because really fell for the marketing. i have very wavy or slightly curly hair that is extremely fine and pretty thick. this air dry cream i have tried to use several times and every time makes my hair feel SO dry that it just frizzes up and doesnt hold a wave at all. i'm so disappointed, ive never spent so much money on a hair product before

Price is a problem again but I have a bigger problem with the pump. The way the product comes out paired with with viscosity of it it feels like too much comes out and sprays in one place. My kid for a diff item wa dented too so I think it's possible I got defective products as the pump on this doesn't work well. Product is okay but application process kills it.
