What moron designs a speakers that ALWAYS TURNS ON AT FULL VOLUME!?
No matter how low you turn the volume when powering it off, it turns on always at max volume. It matters because I only use this speaker in TF/SD card mode, so there is no opportunity to reduce the volume until the speaker is playing music already.
To make matters worse, unlike all my other speakers, you have to press and HOLD the /- buttons to change the volume at all. If you simply click these buttons, you end up changing the track instead of the volume. The result is, you cannot fine tune the volume with a click, and if you attempt this, you just switch the song instead. Because I use 1-3 hour long dance mixes on a single track, you can never just click back and continue where you left off. It is so frustrating!
To be completely fair, for the price, the sound quality is pretty good and the battery life has been exceptional.
Therefore, from an operational standpoint, this is a total fail but from bang vs. buck perspective, it plays TF cards/USBs, it is compact, it sounds good, and has a very good battery life.
