I really like the concept of the JYX-23 portable speaker. The speaker isn't heavy and you're able to I bought the JYX-23 portable speaker for my room and for my travels. The concept is not totally new; there have been many portable speakers before. However, the JYX-23 portable speaker succeeds in areas where other portable Bluetooth speakers lack. First off, the JYX-23 has so many different options for input. Not only do they include a Bluetooth option, they have an aux in option for those who prefer old-school chord options. Additionally, the speaker utilizes a microphone input if you even want to sing along to the lyrics and a number of other options such as recording, skipping, and pausing, and playing. The sound quality is also amazing. I'm glad I came across this speaker because unlike other speakers, the JYX-23 portable speaker does not take away audio quality for mobility. The speaker comes with easy means of transporting including a handle and a light weight. So far the JYX-23 speaker has been one of my best purchases of the year and I definitely look to using it!

Plenty loud, It's only a 5" speaker, but loud for the price and could be heard easily on my 1/2 acre back yard, and wasn't halfway up! There is a second volume on the MP3 player face, look carefully at the forward/ vol button. (hold down "Fwd / Vol to increase level) I assume this is so if you use it as a Karaoke device, you can control the music level and still have a MIC volume. But what I did is plugged my guitar in the mic input and used the delay knob for effect. Great practice amp, definitely plenty of Jammin' volume. We use it around the house playing mp3's and it goes for days without re-charging. Housing seem durable enough. Would I buy again? YEP.

I needed something quick for an upcoming event. I saw this on Amazon, and it was within my price range. I was worried about the quality, but as soon as it arrived, and I tested it out, my worries were put to rest. Easy Bluetooth setup. Good sound quality and volume. There's no distortion when at maximum volume. Long battery life. Convenient hookup for USB and microphone.
