The Kaito KA336 is a simple-to-use emergency radio with NOAA weather alert. It is designed to receive emergency warnings for various life-threatening weather events such as fires, flooding, cyclones, hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, and many other weather disasters. It has standard analog tuning with 7 preset weather bands to get information and alerts regarding local weather. The Kaito KA336 can be used as an emergency tool as well as everyday radio as it features AM, FM, NOAA weather, and alert. The KA336 has multiple ways of power in case of an emergency such as hand-crank, solar, internal 1200 mAh rechargeable battery, 3 AAA batteries(not included), and USB. This portable weather alert radio is also an ideal item for outdoor fans, campers, hunters, or sportsmen far away from electrical outlets for an extended period of time. It's very lightweight and compact. In addition, there is a bright LED light that can be used as a flashlight during a power outage. Finally, it has a built-in power generator that allows you to crank to charge up compatible phones or USB devices via a USB port.
Nice Radio has a light and changer
bought this emergency use radio for daily use has slight but noticeable buzz/fuzz noise at low volume. i bought this to use at night at low volume, not gonna work for me. an am station i pick up clear with other radios, sounds sightly off tune and wont clear out. with 4hr charge i got between 12 to 13 hrs of use, mostly music at decent level volume. my other older radios have 350mah batteries and 1 digital can reach past 20hrs, the analog pushes just past 30, but this is talk radio nearly 100% and at low volume. if only used on talk stations it might reach 18 to 20hrs with 1200mah i slowly rocked both knobs back and forth for several minutes. saw something online about clearing out dust from potentiometer to fix fuzz sound. it did improve on fm but not am for emergency use as its advertised yes i recommend but not for daily use speaker fuzz on am deal breaker, maybe i got bad model? i will b returning mine.
It works thats all I wanted
Broke the first time I tried to use it. I was glad that I tried it out before an emergency! The usb port was broken. SO glad it wasn't an emergency. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
