The build is quite nice. The housing is very sturdy. Ran it through a series of tests and seems to perform as it should and within the reported tolerances. The size is a great fit in the hand, especially for one that measure this high, allowing for one handed use of many of the controls. The built in flashlight is a nice touch Comes with the probes, temp sensor, nice case and instruction book. Batteries are included. Ships in mfg packaging.

This is the second clamp-on ammeter/multi-meter I've reviewed from this company, and this too is a five-star tool. Carefully compare the features, and decide if the extra 12 dollars is worth it...most likely, either will suit your every need. Smaller and lighter, this one would be my choice over its big brother. The real assessment can only come with time to measure its longevity, and a couple of drops to gauge durability. With the rubberized shell common to Kaiweets meters, it should prove more indestructible than the common Amprobe brand. Like the other meters I've gotten, it comes with required batteries and a really nice, secure zippered case. I had never heard of this company before, but each item I receive reinforces my very positive impression of Kaiweets tools.

This is a nice digital clamp meter by Kaiweets. It measures both AC and DC current and even features a built-in flashlight. The kit comes with two AAA batteries, a very nice carrying bag, and two types of test leads. The standard leads are over 2 feet long and include removable protective caps, which is a great feature. The only real con is that it is a bit complicated to figure out at first. You will definitely need to spend some time reading the instructions to understand how to use all the functions. For performance, I tested it as a voltage detector against active outlets, and it successfully and safely sniffed out the live current. I also used it to measure the DC voltage of a battery; it was accurate, though it took a few seconds to register and display the final reading. Overall, I look forward to using this more. Having the clamp function is incredibly useful because you don't have to take apart the item you are measuring.

Quality made. Easy to use. Clever flashlight placement that makes sense. A well written manual that's easy to read and understand. I wish there was a way to keep the backlight on (it turns off after about 10 seconds). It's smaller than I thought it would be, which is nice. Other clamp meters I've used are unnecessarily long. Overall worth the price.

Small and light, seems to test consistently so far (battery voltage and electrical components) all plastic, easy to use, clear digital display, comparable to other devices (although this one is sold on the high end of the price range) comes in a nice little canvas zipper bag. There was ZERO packaging outside of the box it comes in so it was destroyed around all of the edges and corners, plus dents and scratches. Nothing inside seems to have been affected but I cannot recommend this as a gift or any other occasion where you'd want the original packaging to look nice. I do appreciate the batteries being included though. You can get it up and running right away.

This digital clamp meter has been a great tool so far. One feature I really like is the built-in light, which makes it much easier to use in darker work areas. The clamp function works well, and I also like that it has two terminals instead of three, which makes it a little simpler and more convenient to use. Overall, it seems well made, easy to operate, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

Always like to do some preliminary testing before bringing my car in for repairs. This tool is great for testing the battery and other features in order to avoid unnecessary expense. There are many other features, many of which I will likely never use, but, the price point is still reasonable for my limit purpose. Easy to use. Very versatile. Nice case. Exhaustive manual.

Exactly as pictured and described in the above description. Usable right out of the box, just install the included 2 AA batteries. It's light weight and compact size is great for tight spaces. The bright LED light inside the clamp is a great feature when working in dark spaces. The spring clamp is tight. The backlight stays on for 20 seconds. Read accuracy is within range. Fast results. The beep tone is quick and loud. All the buttons are tight, the rotary dial is solid and the detense are firm. It comes with a well written manual and everything fits neatly into the carry pouch. Overall it is a very solid and durable clamp meter. It gets the job done and is well worth the price.

Does everything it says. Comes with a thermocouple for temperature and a nice set of test leads. Seems pretty dang accurate and a bit quicker than the kc604 model. I love it. Plus a flashlight and NCV. 6000 count so this is the same as my standalone larger multimeter but in a smaller package with the Amp clamp which is why I chose it. Everything read exact and very sensitive. I highly recommend this ht206D for the extra price over the smaller clamp meter. This meters clamps are free from the probe holder like the smaller meter which make measuring current in a panel so much easier. I love it. Premium professional tool and quality at an unbeatable price. Awesome. If you need one you definitely can not go wrong with this brand.

This is a sturdy little meter. It comes with high quality leads and a thermometer lead. The amp clamps will be big enough to measure residential lines. The display is sharp and big enough to see in sunlight. This feels like it could take a decent drop to concrete and still work. The pouch is nice as well. This is perfect for all your home and basic car repairs.
