For a beginning fisherman and especially for kids, this worm threader will save you so much time. It will help you hook the worm securely so that the fish can't steal it. My only wish is that it had some type of guard or container so that you don't poke yourself (or anyone else) with it.

This tool makes threading a nightcrawler worm onto a hook a breeze when trout fishing, but works equally as well when fishing for bluegill/bream….especially with kids that haven't learned how to set a hook yet.

So far so good. Worm threader makes for much better placement and worm staying on hook. Kids catch more fish and YOU spend less time threading worms on their hook

These things work great for threading worms on hooks. Wish I had always had one.

Unfortunately, these wormed letters are not the same as the picture. They have a blunt in, which makes it very difficult to thread a worm. The picture shows a sharp angled end that makes it much easier to thread your worm.

I prefer a wood handle as opposed to these plastic handles
