Kalorik Precision Digital Bathroom Scale EBS 39693

We went with this scale because most of the scale comes with bells and whistles(i.e. Body fat Testing, BMI etc). We went with a simple scale with a clean look. The extra "features" on the scale do not work primarily because it is just "marketing hype". Please keep this scale simple and able to do the job it is designed to do, display weight.

Purchased this scale a few weeks ago to replace the outdated arm hand one. Love it! Easy to read digital numbers, slim lined so it can practically fit anywhere in the bathroom and light weight.

I had been looking for a bathroom scale for a few months due to advice from doctors about weight loss. My choice was based on three criteria. I wanted something dependable for accuracy, something good looking and something that wouldn't take up much space in a small bathroom. I waited to purchase this product when it became replaced in your stock because it fulfilled my criteria as well as looking sophisticated enough to display on my bathroom floor.

Seems to work well. Simple.

Easy to read. Lightweight. Accurate

Bought this to monitor weight. Nice scale. Wish it had a light to I could see the numbers in a dim bathroom. Otherwise, serves the purpose.

The scale is fine, and it displays your weight to a .2 level of granularity. But here's a pro tip: Weigh yourself at least twice each time, if not 3X. You are likely to find that your second and third weights will be different (in my case, lower) than your initial weight. I wondered if this was a defect so I called Kalorik tech support. The tech told me no...it does that. In fact, she has the same scale at home and she weighs herself three times every morning. Her first scale reading is always higher. I'm convinced the second weighing is more accurate and here's why. Last week, I visited the doctor. I had weighed myself that morning just as I always do, just after walking with clothes off and with no food or beverages in me yet, and my weight was 195.2 on the Kalorik (but 192.2 on the second weighing). A couple hours later, after eating breakfast and drinking lots of water and coffee as I normally do in the am, I was weighed fully dressed at the doc's office a couple hours late. My weight was 195.9. I normally see several pounds of difference once I'm clothed, fed and hydrated (I drink 2 liters of water in the morning, and water is heavy). When I saw that initial weight on the Kalorik that morning, I expected to top 200 at the doctor's office once all the added weight was factored in. Didn't happen. The difference was just 0.7 pounds. I'm explaining all this only because we buy these devices in the belief they're accurate. Perhaps not as accurate as the doc's office, but still. Based on this informal "test," I'm confident that my second and third readings on the Kalorik give me a more accurate indication of my actual weight. (And fortunately with this scale, you can replace the battery, so you can weigh yourself as often as you want.)

Wish it was lighted. Other than that it is ok.
