First thing out the box, you can feel the quality, solid ceramic, clean finish, and that classic Kamado Joe logo sitting right on the front. It's got some good weight to it, doesn't feel cheap at all and the vent holes around the top are a nice touch for even heat flow.
I like how wide the base is too, looks like it's going to sit steady on the grates and hold everything in place without wobbling around. The reservoir looks deep enough to load up with beer, broth, or whatever flavor combo I'm running that day and let that steam work through the bird.
Overall I'm impressed straight out the box, simple design, but built right. I'm definitely excited to throw this on the grill and see how it performs on an upcoming cook. I already know it's about to level up my chicken game, crispy skin, juicy inside and that Kamado Joe heat doing what it does best.
