Great grill and smoker; however , the reason it doesn't get 5 stars because it came with a dent in the back by the hinge and who the heck is going to return what feels like a 300 # grill. Also the air vent on top loosely fits and easily flies off when you pull the cover off. Otherwise love my purchase

Grill arrived on time and with no damage. The shipping company even put it on their own wooden pallet. It was missing a screw for the base from the manufacturer. Contacted them, and they sent an entire new base because they were out of just the screw. Kamado Joe has great customer service. The grill has worked flawlessly, and I was thrilled to get it at the sale price. Just make sure you have help with the set-up. It's heavy.

I purchased the cover and my Big Joe III almost 3 years ago. The plastic handle on the top disintegrated and fell off this week. The cover still looks good and I can continue to use it. I think the webbing material attaching the handle is the problem, and further suspect that sun and weather were major factors. Perhaps your engineers should look for a better material for the handle.

I've had mine for a little over a year. The bad: any color on it has faded and the stitching is coming apart. The good: no holes in it. There aren't a whole lot of options for covers so kind stuck with this one. I don't anticipate getting another year out of it

I've had the cover on the Joe for a couple weeks and the two red "stripes" /cords running around the cover have already turned pink. The cover is fine but given the cost, I expected it to look new for a much longer period of time.

Fits and looks nice. But unfortunately don't last long. They last less than 2 seasons (I have already bought 2 and will have to buy my 3rd one shortly). In comparison. I have a grill with its original napoleon cover for the same amount of time outdoor and it still looks like new. Company should look into getting better material.

In less than one year this cover fell apart. The description says "Designed with UV resistant technology to limit fading and sun damage", but after just a few months the cover turned a gray color and then started to disintegrate. I'm really disappointed with the quality. I shouldn't have to buy a new cover every 9-12 months.

I bought a Big Joe about a year ago. I also bought a Heavy Duty grill cover. One year later the cover is very badly faded and ugly gray. The trim is also fading and actually wearing off. Extremely poor quality. You are better off buying a cheap knock off and rebuy when it goes bad!! I am extremely disappointed in Kamado! You would think their R&D would have tested the product before going to market.
