Karbon Steel™ Carbon Steel Half-Moon Pan Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pans without knowing whether we would use them, but I will tell you they have been incredibly handy this summer! Grilling veggies and fish and other things I dont want to put directly on the grill.

Maiden cook was pan seared scallops and blistered green beans. Worked beautifully and nothing stuck to the pan!

Searing, roasting, sautéing, they work great. I even cooked a large omelet. As much as I liked cast iron I've become a huge fan of the Karbon Steel

I just did my first cook on the new Karbon Steel half-moon pans and they were so much fun to cook with. I have owned both the cast iron and soapstone pans from KJ but found these even easier to work with as they are so lightweight and versatile.I got an amazing sear on steak using the flat pan and used my other pan to get some direct flame kiss on grilled asparagus without having to worry about losing my veggies to the fire. This is the perfect bundle if you look to pimp up your kamado with cast iron pans and griddle.

These new half moon pans are really great. I loved how I was able to cook up veggies while grilling a couple of steaks. The seasoning process was super fast and the pans were ready to use. The cook was great and the clean up was also very easy. I really enjoyed how versatile this accessory was and I have alot of ideas on what to cook next. Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This was my first carbon steel cooking accessory. I was surprised at how easy it was to season and start cooking. The first cook went great on the Kamado Joe. There was not much stuck on it at all, it was really easy to clean

Hi quality, watch the handles they get hot and sticky

I bought this pre seasoned Karbon steel. I seasoned them 3 times in the oven per the instruction. The basket without holes worked OK. The basket with holes stuck all my vegetables. I spent 10 minutes trying to get the stuck food and could not. It is just not worth the price and the food get stuck easily. My seasoned cast iron KJ grill plate did better with vegetables not a single one got stuck.
