Karcher K4 1900 PSI 1.5 GPM Electric Pressure Washer

This is my 2nd Karcher pressure washer. I love this machine because it is the only brand of pressure washers which can draw water off a lake or bucket of water. I use this washer to clean my boat and my dock. I just drop the siphon tube in the lake and it cleans perfectly!

This unit is perfect for me.

I bought the K 5 pressure washer to clean classic cars that are being restored (dirty, greasy engines, frames, etc). It has worked very well and has plenty of pressure and is easy to use. I chose Karcher because it can pump water from a source of stationary water rather than requiring a regular garden hose delivering a pressurized water source. The K 5 has solved more than one problem at my garage.

This replaces a similar older model that I had for many years. This new one is much quieter and so powerful that I generally throttle it back using the vario-wand. I like that the hose is easily long enough to wash a large car or SUV without moving the unit. One of the problems with the previous unit was that it could tip over if the hose was pulled even a slight amount. The new unit has a larger base that extends towards the front of the unit which makes it much more stable and fully addresses the problem. Putting it together was a snap and I'm looking forward to many more years of trouble-free use.

Powerful and quiet. Not for doing parking lots but perfect for home use.

I bought K5 Power control for a regular use such as car wash, siding, drive way and deck cleaning. One particular reason was to clean deck before staining. First I need to say that I pretty much satisfied with rotating turbo nozzle. It is quite efficient in cleaning either pavement or wooden deck. Also the tool is of good quality and well built. The wheels and attachment are very practical. However, I am very much disapponted with spray nozzle. I do not know if it should be like this or my spray jet is not functioning properly by soft mode is ridiculously weak. The water pessure in tap water hose is much more powerful than what is getting out in this soft mode. I am constantly using it in the hard mode but even in this mode it is not powerfull enough to properly clean a car. I do not understand why it is even needed. It is called pressure washer so it should deliver some pressure. The foam canon does it work but struggle to provide thick foam. Honestly, I would change it for more powerful model but not sure how much time will replacement take place.

Unit arrived quickly, easy to assemble although directions were vague. Make sure you put clip on pressure line securely. Pressure line jammed in spray wand on first use. Have to be careful to align properly when inserting. Had to take wand apart to get it to release. Works well, wand to easy to maneuver, pump off/on feature is a plus. Storage is much simpler with hose reel and storage slots for wands and electric cord. So far so good.

Walmart has the best price and the product works as I expected.

Works fine, however, as I was inserting the handle as carefully as possible one of the prongs broke. All companies, need to use a larger font regarding Model # and Warranty #. Old guys with corrected vision have trouble reading the letters and numbers.
