Excellent pressure washer

Herb-li October 3, 2024

I ordered the K2100 when on sale to replace an older Karcher 320. There was nothing wrong with the 320, but I wanted the higher pressure and flow the K2100 offered. I also wanted the standard connections on the K2100 where I could attach quick connects and quickly change between guns. I have been using the new Kacher for washing my cars and I am happy with the pressure out of the box, but what has taken it to the next level is getting a small gun and metal extension. With these two items, the pressure is definitely better. The included storage for the cord, accessories, and tips is useful but I wish there was a hook to hang the hose. The on/off switch is foot operated which is handy, but I worry if it will hold up to abuse. I have not used the soap container as I use a foam cannon, and cannot comment on this. I installed quick connects as I switch guns often, and I'd recommend a shut off on the inlet hose end or you'll need to turn off water at the bib every time. The unit is very quiet when in use and my ears thank me for it. Construction is mostly, if not all plastic, but so was my 320 and after over 10 years of use I never had an issue. I am looking forward to using the K2100 for just as long if not longer.

Great!

The only thing I would change, make it better- is that the handle for pulling would be a bit higher- longer.

Very happy with the K2100PS

JohnG2 August 13, 2023

I bought this as an upgrade to an older 1600 PSI Karcher unit. I am very happy with the performance and ease of use. I especially like the storage bucket. It makes it easy to carry everything without items falling off hangers while pulling the unit across the driveway. This unit is very quiet and has plenty of power for my uses.

Quality Unit

Zed_ April 27, 2023

I received my unit yesterday and immediately put it to work. No tools needed to put it together. The wheels are held with detented implement pins. All hoses are hand tighten. Air is your enemy - so I was careful to purge it out. First job was to clean BBQ grids and heat plates. Turbo nozzle was beat for that task. Next to clean a car. It seemed to use a lot of detergent for the amount of time I used the soap nozzle. The 40 deg. Nozzle was good for the task and adequate power was present to remove stubborn bugs and stains by getting up close. Lastly I cleaned a stain off my brick chimney. It thought the Turbo nozzle would be best for this but ended up using the 15 deg. Nozzle to get the stain off. The long electrical cord is perfect, negating the need for extension cords and high resistance connections. The high pressure hose is a bit stiff and tangly. Changing nozzles is a breeze with the quick connect. All in all an effective quality machine.

Karcher makes great products

Ace T May 16, 2023

The previous Karcher pressure washer that I bought gave me many years of excellent service. So I decided to buy a bigger better Karcher product expecting many years of great service.

Second time

Blackhatdg December 13, 2023

This is my second power washer by Karcher. The first one started leaking oil after about two years and eventually died. But I do like the unit and its features.

K2100 review

kozmo6aw August 11, 2025

I bought this to replace an old K320 that I had used for years. The K2100 has so far met my expectations. I have used the wide tip to clean some cedar siding on a privacy screen it works well. I also used the narrow angle tip to clean some paving stones and it easily took off all the algae and dirt. I have not tried the turbo wash yet. My only concern is the wand has a connection in the middle of it that has some play in it and it sometimes leaks a bit but the nut seems to be tight.

Great pressure washer, impossible to repair

Tkurmil April 21, 2025

I got this pressure washer last year and it was fantastic, well it's my fault but I've left it out over the winter and it's in need of repair. I've taken it apart and have found the problem part but good luck buying it. Karcher makes it impossible to repair on your own as you cannot buy the parts for it.

Cheaply made/can't get parts

Aaron1 May 1, 2023

Junk don't buy it, can't even get parts for them. The fittings are plastic so over time they will break easily. If you lived in the USA you get way better customer service and parts are available but for some reason not in Canada. Don't recommend buying this! Haven't even used more than 5 times!!

OK entry level washer, but no parts availability

saskguy September 3, 2023

Got this washer, and it had trouble keeping high pressure but I realized it was because of air being in the system. Running it without the nozzle until there was no bubbles fixed this. Then the trigger wand started leaking like crazy and I took it apart to reveal that the pressure line is made of plastic and was cracked along the seam - no parts available. So I upgraded to a metal wand from Princess Auto - all was good again. Then, after leaving the washer outside on a hot day connected to about 200ft of hose, I started it up and the water was piping hot - I thought nothing of it since cold water was on its way so continued washing to flush out the hot water... well it quickly disintegrated the unserviceable pump rendering the washer useless by the time the cold water got there. It hasn't worked since and is not repairable. Is the washer ok for pressure and packaging size? Yes. Is it robust? No, it is definitely not. Is it serviceable/repairable and has parts available? No, it does not. If you baby it, you MIGHT get 5 yrs out of it, then its destined for the garbage. You're better off spending more $$ on a better washer that can ACTUALLY be repaired.
