You delivered what I ordered. I am satisfied
As a professional chimney sweep we are using our ladders daily. The ease of use along with the security of knowing our ladders are properly secured make it one less thing we have to worry about. At first I thought they were a bit high in price, but we definately get the return on productivity and assurance of knowing that our ladders are not going to fly off the truck due to failed bungy cords. Due to the quality construction, they hold up well here on Cape Cod with our salty ocean air. Highly recommended!
Not sure why, but the ratchet tie downs I bought, and I now have 4, are far better than this picture. They are seat belt material and although expensive, I'd say worth the money. If you have a Kargo Master rack I'd recommend them. Mine are specifically made for the Pro II rack. Best I've ever seen.
Sold my Chevy bought a Ford needed the 3" taller leg package to make my Kargo Master rack fit the Ford. So for $84.00 I got a new rack. It's great that Kargo Master makes these parts available.
We purchased the ratchet tie downs because we like the security offered with straps. Installation was a bit tricky. It would be easier to install these before placing the rack on the truck. One of the straps was cut partially through the first time using it as it traveled over the edge of the rack bracket. I found these to be a bit pricey however I believe they are effective
The wind deflector functioned as advertised. Prior to installation, the rack extension bar caused air to be forced against the roof of the truck at highway speeds (~65 mph). This caused the roof of the truck to vibrate and a very loud roar (like a jet engine on the roof of the truck cab) heard continuously in the cab at highway speeds. Following the installation of the deflector, the vibration on the roof panel ceased and the cab noise level was back to satisfactory levels. The only negative comment that I have is that the stainless steel pipe clamps used to attach the wind deflector (black in color) to the roof rack extension (also black in color) are stainless steel and would have been less obtrusive in black. I will be painting these clamps as soon as I take the truck rack off for the winter.
These straps are not intended for ALL Kargo Master ladder racks. Call KargoMaster's customer service line to request the product number of the reatchet straps that correspond to YOUR ladder rack or van rack. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the quality and ease of use of these ratchet straps. Loading and unloading ladders at home and at the job site is very quick.
Bought this to use on my new silverado. The angle bracket did not fit and the stake hole bracket just dented the truck. I bought some stainless steel from mccmaster carr and welded up my own no drill brackets. Don't waste your money.
We purchased this mount for a work vehicle and the piece that holds the cooler to the mount detached while on the highway. Luckily it was mounted so that the cooler fell into the bed of the pick-up instead of onto the roadway. We had purchased a cheaper one on Amazon for another truck and are now going to buy a few more of those since the quality is much better than this one. Don't waste your money on this product.
Works great but almost all tundras come with the a sliding rail tie down system mounted just under the bed rails. This cost extra on the truck and had to be removed for these plates to work.
