This cereal is chocolatey and delicious. I've been able to eat it as a filling snack with a glass of water and feel satisfied for hours. It IS high in fiber, so those with gut problems may need to avoid it, but it is absolutely my favorite snack. I pack some in my lunch most days.
Really good. I have given it to my 19 year old son for snacking (mixed with sun butter it's so good!) and helps me meet my protein/fiber requirements.
The butchers continually slice so thin it Falls apart. This has been since I've had a membership for the last 2 years. The other thing is they put the price and tag right at the opening of where you went on zip the bag therefore, the bag is unusable you have to tear it open. Please pass us onto your meat, color address, and butchers. It is really a nuisance to the consumer.
This is nutritious and delicious! That said, do not eat more than one serving a day. I did and it causes a great deal of gas and stomach upset. I didn't learn my lesson the first time and the second time told me I was right. It was too much of a good thing.
This cereal is so good! amazing that it's also healthy! it's sweet fruity flavor is great and the cereal also hold up in milk... no squishyness. Though must of the time it ends up in ziplock bags in my purse for a sweet to-go snack.
I tried Kashi years ago so thought I'd try their protein cereal. It's okay. Don't know that I would buy it again, as it tastes okay but whatever they use for the protein makes you really have to work at grinding it up by chewing extra long and it's really dense.
Peanut butter is good. Crunchy. But you gotta chew for a while to break it all down. Very dense plus the time it takes allows for your natural "I'm full" to kick in, so you don't want but about half of what you normally would eat. I don't know if I'm going to purchase again. Probably not. Just too heavy and dense for breakfast for me.
This cereal (I purchased two different varieties, the chocolate is the worst, PB not quite as bad) should be outlawed. As others have stated repeatedly, this cereal (if you can call it that) is hard as a brick. Best wishes trying to grind this crap up.
If crunch is all you care about, the recent recipe change may win you over. This cereal is literally rock hard now. I let it soak in milk for five minutes and still damaged a tooth. Flavor and texture aren't what they used to be. Overpriced junk now. I'm sure some executive made the call and now makes more money, but that doesn't benefit the brand or the customer.
This was my favorite cereal, and of course they had to go and change it. It’s much darker and harder than it used to be, feels hard and over baked now. I emailed the company and they confirmed they recently changed it to add more protein and fiber, well those amounts sure look the same to me. What a shame, why do they always change and it’s almost never a positive change. People liked it, should have left it alone. What a bummer.
