Easy to use and accurate. I already had 1 and ordered an additional one to attach to my Christmas lights for easy on/off periods.

Where has this been all my life! This solves all my problems--not being able to get the plug into the outside box without using an extension, worrying about rain and wind--so wrapping baggies, plastic and shipping tape over it until holiday decorations come down. Got one for each box. What a great invention.

This item came with all timer pegs in the "active" down position. Needed to pull up on pegs to get them into the "inactive" up position for those times of day when the attached electrical devices should be turned off. Since this is a mechanical unit, it is difficult to adjust the pegs closest to the dial's current time (6 o'clock position) because of the electrical contact resistance. Better to make changes when the pegs are some distance away to either side of current time. Dial is designed to *only* rotate clockwise when setting the current time, do not attempt to rotate counterclockwise. Cover fits tightly and seems likely to be waterproof. Very pleased with this unit so far.

Similar to another timer I have so already familiar with how to program it. The two outlets are convenient however, I plugged in an older outdoor decoration (not LED) and it blew the breaker that this timer was plugged into. So I removed the old light and it worked fine again. A warning to those still using older type lights, this timer may not be able to handle the load.
