Good inexpensive rod.
I bought this as a birthday present for my son his birthday is in Dec. so he won't get to use it until spring. I checked it out when it arrives and it has 2 different tips, it's a 6' 2 piece so it'll be easy for him to use with his kayak. It's not top of the line but it is a IM6 graphite blank rod which is good.

I like it!
I'm liking this rod and reel. Ordered a Spartacus II reel and decided to get the rod also. Put line on, adjusted reel and went fishing that evening. Really light weight, handles very well, caught a couple of fish, what more could you want?

I havent gotten to fish mine yet, but me and my buddies have now all matching spartacus baitcasters, great feeling reel, ive gotten some practice casts and it casts really far and smooth. The rod is very sensitive, just the way i like it.

KastKing sent used and damaged fishing rods...
Like the title says...Kastking and Wal Mart both sent used and damaged fishing rods. The tags were snipped from the factory rod as well as there being damage on the handle on both fishing rods. Make sure that the fishing rod you received is factory sealed, although...that doesn't guarantee that your rod will be new. Look over the item carefully for damage. Both times the damage was in between the two cork handle pieces. Good luck...
