Wow! I think this is the best rod I've ever had. I popped my reel on, put some weight on the line, and took it out to the parking lot, to test cast it. Without even trying, just a flick of the wrist, I casted it 50 yards. I like the rubber holder that protects and keeps it in place when compressed.

I was looking for a rod that I could fit in my tackle box and this rod collapses down small enough to fit. It's super easy to extend and collapse. Even when I have the space to put a one-piece rod in the car, it's nice to bring this one along because it's so easy to load into the car and keep in the seat next to me. It's also easy to carry it through the woods to your fishing spot due to its compact size. It is really durable too. I've pulled pretty hard on the rod when my hook gets stuck and it has never broken. I've also lifted a 3lb fish out of the water with the rod and it held just fine. I've had two other brands of telescopic rods and they've both broken. But this brand was so good I bought two!

great rod and reel combo. will use many times this summer. can take further along the river bank past the other fishermen. price was excellent.. I'm sold highly recommend to buy. I have the kast king compass telescoping

This pole seems good quality. We haven't got a chance to use it yet but it collapses small enough to fit in a travel suitcase which is what we were looking for. It seems to telescope smoothly and has a good grip.

Found it was somewhat awkward to line up eyelets during set up. Still getting use to it. All in all a nice pole for the money!

The first cast went well, but when I packed up the rod, the thin tip section snapped. I'm absolutely shocked. My old rods cost half as much, yet they only broke under heavy loads after six months of use.
