Bought this for my trip to Seattle seems sturdy enough to handle Salmon. Love the rod case, expecting to rod case alone to last me for a while in case the rods ever do need to be replaced.

For a 4 piece travel rod at this price it should do the trick and if something happens along the way it's no real big loss. Nicely tapered eye guides but backbone is pencil thin for a MH rod rated 3/8-1oz and probably won't do very well running a high vibration lure. If you're using some low resistance artificial (soft plastics, etc.) or live bait this will work well. Travel case not included but ships in a clear plastic tube that will work fine.

Great quality for the price and compact travel option! MH rod lacks backbone for the up to 1oz rating but after all it is quite cheap and a 4pc rod... probably not a good crankbait rod.

Overall, its a great rod. everythjng fits together nicely and is surprisingly sensitive for a four piece rod. My only issue is that its advertised with a carrying case but actually comes in a tube.

Good rod for the price. Breaks down in to 4 pieces, convenient for travel.

Be careful before ordering b/c the general description may say Spinning but within "Color" description it will say Cast/Fast/Heavy. I thought one of them I ordered was a Spinning at it was a Baitcasting (but returns are easy enough). Very disappointed that it does not come with the case shown in picture. Only reason I ordered this one over the Spartacus ii passage, which apparently has a better blank and better guides, was the pictured travel case. Leaving for my trip tomorrow, so I guess it's this or nothing. Will reach out to KastKing and update if I get any resolution. Quality of the rod seems good, I'll let you know once I [hopefully] get some fish on it!
