Kat Von D Lock-It Liquid Foundation 77 Deep - Warm Undertone

I just got this foundation for the first time and am loving it. I used to wear Studio Gear (my color no longer available), then Lorac (formula no longer made). I took a chance and ordered this one sight unseen (KVD was running a sale) and am not sorry. You really do need only a little. It goes on easily over a primer and offers amazing coverage. The color match to my skin tone is also exceptional. It sits on top of the skin with no creasing and lasts all day. It's also easy to remove at the end of the day.

This goes on thick but it doesn't feel uncomfortable, it's very wearable. It's definitely full coverage. I used the guide to help find the best shade for me and it was a little too pale however combined with some bronzer and blush it looks great. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have extremely dry skin and rosacea that I have such a hard time covering up. I wore this for the very first time at a swim party (didn't swim) but it was in the Alabama heat and humidity and it did not budge. It does not cake up and emphasize my dryness at all. I use the blotting powder in light to set under my eyes and these two work really well together. I was skeptical about trying this at first, but am so glad I did!

A full coverage matte finish! Great for oily skin if its a little heavy then add a little facial oil or moisturizer ta da problem fixed. A little goes a long way so it will last a life time. I want the full range for my kit!! I got so excited to finally find a foundation for my albino skin!!! Yay

I really enjoyed this product! I received it for free for testing purposes from Influenster. I have never used Kat Von D products so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was sent shade Light 45 Warm. I put my makeup on at 8am and by 9pm I still looked flawless! It did feel very heavy at first, but shortly after it felt better on my skin. I didn't feel like I had a ton of makeup on. It didn't transfer to my clothes or pillows. I would recommend this foundation to a friend!

I love this foundation so much! I have suffered with acne and redness of the face for so long... it's been such a struggle finding a foundation that would 1. Last all day long and 2. Cover up all of my blemishes and imperfections. This far exceeds my expectations and I am so glad to have found this stuff!

I am so glad I received this foundation in my influenster voxbox! It is absolutely amazing! I love how well it actually matches my skin tone unlike other foundations, and I love how a little goes a long ways! Even if I don't use primer and just throw it on my face it still lasts all day which is amazing!

This was my first time ever trying out the Kat Von D lock it foundation! The coverage is great and my color match was a little off! I did receive this product free from Influenster but i would definitely purchase this on my own! I did love this foundation, it lasted all night so i definitely recommend this for everyone!

I'm giving this product 3-stars based solely on the fact that it wasn't the correct shade so I couldn't test it properly. It had a pleasant scent, sweet and a little fruity. Smooth application, liquid wasn't too runny and dried down matte shortly after. I wish I had more to say about it, but since it was in the wrong shade it gave me little room to work with. I received this as a complimentary sample for testing.

Disclaimer: I received this product for free through an Influenster Vox Box. [read whole review, positives at the end] First of all, I did not do a great job of matching myself in terms of the shade (mine was a little bit too light for my skin tone); however, there are a decent number of shades available. I have yet to see a shade range that satisfies EVERY skin tone, however I think this shade range is probably better than a lot of other ones. With that said, there are a TON of things I do NOT like about this product… 1 it is definitely not the most light weight foundation I've ever tried—I can definitely feel it on my face. 2 from dry skin to pores it emphasizes and draws attention to EVERY imperfection on my face. It makes my skin look bad and unnatural. I will say, I do really like the packaging and the fact that a little goes a long way. While this product can be built to "full-coverage" (based on my experience) for this product to work for you you'd probably have to already have PERFECT and HYDRATED skin (in which case I'm not sure why you'd need foundation in the first place). PRO TIP: use a brush, NOT a beauty sponge. I also could see how this foundation might work for someone who is going for stage makeup (as opposed to someone who is trying to look natural and flawless up close or in person).
