There is a template you can use or you can wing it and put them how you like. They are easy to use and look fantastic. They are really nice quality, as well. The set comes with a hanging guide in which you tape the guide to the wall, and then mark the holes for installing your nails— no measuring, spacing issues, or risks of unnecessary nail holes. You can also cut out the templates to create your own gallery and mark the holes. The set comes with multiple sized frames, with varied orientations per the gallery template.
