Most of the hamster cages that Kaytee makes are actually too small for our Syrian hamster, so we put them inside an aquarium as an extra room. This one is actually big enough on its own! I also love that it still works with our other Kaytee products so we can connect them all together. I'm so glad Kaytee is now making this larger cage!

This is also capable of adding on a room . 540 sq inches of living space. only thing I wish it would have come with a wheel. other than that perfect.

Large and plenty of room for my granddaughters hamster. Only con i have is the hole used to add extensions doesn't hold the tubes as secure as I would like.

Big enough for a hamster, glad crittertrail is starting to make cages that actually qualify for the minimum amount of floor space. 🤦‍♀️

Disappointing for the price. Bottom is warped - kind of rocks/bounces when on flat surface. Hard to put together (without breaking plastic tabs) without having gaps where hamster can escape. Connecting piece (for bubble connector) doesn't stay hooked on wires. I wasn't too worried about there being no water bottle and wheel until I tried to find one that actually fit in the cage - should be included.

bar spacing was not per information. Top was distorted and wire top door would not fit. Terrible quality!
