Kaytee Fiesta Parrot Food 25 pounds

Pros: The mix is varied and limits the amount of sunflower seeds which was recommended by my veterinarian. My Amazon parrot just has to get used to the new diet and has more or less. But he still yells at me in the morning. Tough love. Cons: my parrot loves raw shelled peanuts. But for some reason he is not crazy about those in the mix. But he will eventually eat them.

I've been using Kaytee Fiesta for many years and my citron cockatoo and African gray parrot love it. It's sometimes hard to find the 25 pounds bag so I appreciate it when Walmart has it.

I wanted to say something about this bird food I had purchased a small bag in the store and my seem to like it. I'm thinking I've to find a bigger bag of this food for them so I looked on my phone at Walmart.com and there it is . it's about $10.00 more than the bag I had been getting for them but they have gotten so pretty from eating this it has the best smell and all kinds of nut's. their feathers are prettier

Parrots have been on this food for over a year and seem to be doing well in life.

I bought this for my moluccan cockatoo. for $2. a ound it was a good deal. my bird is picky and rejects the pumpkin seed and hard corn. that's a lot of food so i vacuumed seal the 25 lb shipment with large foodsaver bags and canisters to preserve the freshness and life of seed. that should give me up to 2 years of protection. hint use a second bad so the sharp seed doesn't pierce thru and cause the vacuum seal to break. a 4.5 bag in a local store is $23.00 so it pays. and walmart takes back and is local everywhere.
