Kaytee Forti-Diet Timothy Hay 28 Ounces

Great regular ole Timothy hay and great size for the price it is good and compacted which last longer than other brands of hay, never is it course and brown it's always the brightest green and a softer hay which is good cause my piggie sticks his whole head up into his hay bag holes I be concerned he will hurt his eyes with some brands of hay that have such hard sticks but this brand is no worry it's very soft and tons of my Norman's fav the “fuzzy sticks” (the flowers) of the Timothy hay!

I know it's for convenience but I can buy a whole square bale of alfalfa for $6 instead of this little bitty bag. But I was purchasing it to childs guinea in another state who did not have access to Hay. I could see charging $3 but $6.98 is crazy. plus the 45min shipping %26 delivery tip = roughly 18$. Had to save grandchild's guinea pig! Other than that I assume the Item was fine.

I feed it to my rabbit who can't speak (obviously) so I really don't know what she thinks about it but I do know there is still half a bag and this purchase is from months ago. There's times she refuses to eat this hay and I have to buy different and more pricey brands. It'd be nice if she could write the review instead of me

This Timothy hay has been great for my small pets. The hay smells fresh, stays pretty green, and has a nice mix of soft and crunchy pieces. My pets started eating it right away, which doesn't always happen with other brands I've tried. The bag size is also convenient and lasts a good while. Definitely a solid choice for keeping small animals happy and healthy.

Why did the review ask me to rate the taste? Walmart, get it right! This is pet food. Why only three stars? Because it depends on which package off the shelf of this product that you grab. Tremendous variation of the quality of the hay in EACH container. I've been buying this particular brand for twenty years, so I know. When buying, I inspect the product bags carefully for hay quality, and cherry pick. Theres usually 5 or 6 at least to pick from of this same brand and size bag. Unfortunately, when having delivered, or for pickup, workers don't pick and choose.

I buy this a lot but this time the package only contained tiny shredded bits of Timothy hay. My rabbit wouldn't eat it, she just scattered it all over. I will probably try this brand again but I will open the bag up %26 check contents in the store before purchasing.

There wasn't much actual hay. Mostly debris you usually find at the bottom of the bag and it was brown. They couldn't even eat it because it was mostly small chopped pieces. I didn't feel good feeding this quality of hay to them, and they didn't really enjoy it.

3/4 of the bag is dust and 2 inch pieces 😡 every single time !!!! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY !! All the bags are like this !! I'm 100s of dollars in and the hay is still horrible !! Katy replaced it and the bags from Canada are just as bad 😡😭😤

the entire bag is nothing but Chaffe there is no edible hay for my pigs.thia ia terrible. hay is my pigs staple food. every single bag just about every single time. get it together kaytee

The hay is old . Every-time I order from here they always come dry. It's like they leave the old stuff on the shelves while the new stuff rots in the back room. Shameful.
