too big for cage
Orders this but it was too big for my guinea pigs cage do had to return it otherwise it would have been a good buy

Chick approved
This is a great product, but i would recommend for a rodent type animal. i ordered it for my chicks but they decided it was a nesting box instead lol but they do love it as a nest so still a good purchase.

On the small side
This is a good quality sturdy feeder but a little smaller than I imagined. It would be perfect for a guinea pig or rodent but just wasn't big enough for rabbit. They have to have lots of hay and this just doesn't hold much

Good feeder for a few months
This worked well when I first got my rabbit, It neatly separated his food from his hay, but the older he got, the more he chewed on the actual plastic part of the feeder which not only wasn't good for him but also made the hay holder fall apart. Maybe some chew toys would have prevented this. Good product overall.

Sturdy, but…
Very sturdy…hay fit's way too tight, and hard for bunny to get out.

Maybe Not
Every animal is different so that is something to consider. Neither of my rabbits like this feeder. They avoid it whenever possible for feeding purposes but my female does love breaking it. the movable caged part broke off and the hooks it somes with are super flimsy and cheap. If you pet likes pulling with or playing on thwir feeders this is not a good fit for you.

My bunny was able to chew through it
Material is hard and strong however my bunny chewed it still and not good. Also its hard to get to the back part - not too functional. Threw it away. Hope this helps for new bunny owners
