KAYTEE MEALWORM MINI CAKE 6, 6 OZ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The birds loved this mealworm seed cake! it was large and they had a lot of fun pecking at it. it didn't fall apart easily which is a good thing. some of the seeds were larger than I would have liked but it is a great product overall.

It was much bigger than I expected (I was expecting the little 1-inch thick block) so I cut it into 8ths to fit in my feeder. It was gone within 2-3 days and the squirrels were seriously digging the crumbs that I threw into my yard.

They get bored, they have less energy, and they seem to lay less. I feel like this high protein treat block gives them something to do while giving them a nice boost of protein.

This seed block is huge so I cut it in half and set it out for my birds. It took about a week for them to notice it but once they did they picked away at all the tasty bits pressed into this high quality seed cake. It will last a while but I will buy again when it's done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid bird feeder I like to feed them high quality food especially in the winter. with this cake they are happy and full for a quite a while. they can devour a normal size suet cake and less than a day! kaytee has a great line of wild bird food if you want the best try it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked well! we put it out in the winter and birds were quick to find it and eat it up! We didn't have a great way to put it out, we ended up just putting it on a stump. Maybe they sell something to hold it, but I didn't see it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this seed cake out in my backyard (just put it in a covered spot, no feeder) and while it took a little bit for the birds to find it, they loved it! It was great to leave out during the snow we had as it stayed together in the cold and was available for the birds the whole time.

I like that it's not a mess everywhere because it's contained to a block form. I set it up on a masonry block for feeding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do note these are very big seed cakes. I have yet to find a feeder that these fit inside. They are packed with seeds and mealworms. The visitors to my yard love both. A good value for a special treat for the birds and squirrels.
