This is the only food my Red Headed Amazon will eat! She loves it and I've tried so many others

As a bird mom I love anything that my children love. My youngest bird child is about 1-1/2 years old. Kaytee conure pellets are for her while my older child (33 years old), prefers Higgins parrot pellets. So they both eat Kaytee because of the fruit flavor and the are moist. I only wish for a larger size because we go through a bag a month.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The food is definitely softer than her usual roudybush food. It looked great to me. My bird acted interested at first and ate some but then started throwing it on the ground and not eating it. She is extremely picky though and seems to only like roudybush.

I bought 2 3-pound bags of Kaytee® NutriSoft™ Parrot Food. My review would be negative. Once I opened the bag, I got 2 soft feedings of the Kaytee® NutriSoft™ Parrot Food. My African Gray loved it! This food is expensive, so I was sure to reseal the bag with the closure on the bag. After 2 days in my African Gray's food dish, the soft pellets are hard as a rock and my parrot is no longer interested in the food. Wasted what was left in my parrots' dish. I opened the Kaytee® NutriSoft™ Parrot Food bag to give my parrot fresh food, and the remaining 2.5 pounds of soft pellets were hard as a rock. What a waste of money. I'm going to try to take the unopened bag of Kaytee® NutriSoft™ Parrot Food back for a refund. I do not recommend Kaytee® NutriSoft™ Parrot Food based on my experience with the food.

I have had an African Gray for nearly 30 years. I always fed her Kaytee Exact. It was a solid light brown pellet that provided her excellent balanced nutrition with no waste and no mess. Suddenly Kaytee would only produce that in hand feeding formula for infant birds. So I tried this soft food. It produces tons of wasted food because it crumbles and lands in huge amounts in the cage. Because it is soft, it clings to the cage making it difficult to clean. And all that crumbled mess is wasted food/$$$. I do NOT recommend this product. I'm switching to the rainbow version. I still love the Kaytee brand, but the Nutrisoft product is horrible.

i have 6 conures 2 cockatiels 4 perakeets my conures are the picky eaters they love volkman hookbill bird food i seen this one and thought Maybe they will like it because of it being soft like some human food nope i was wrong they hate it i even tried to get the cockatiels to eat itone did but it wasn't his favorite
