Kaytee Wild Bird Seed & Mealworm Treat Cake, 1.4 lb

I have lots of varieties of birds visiting us and I just recently began putting this out along with black oil sunflower seed. The birds LOVE it! Cardinals, chickadees, bluebirds and goldfinches visit often. I put out one weekly, but it doesn't last that long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed cake is HUGE! Such a great value for the price. I cant wait to put this out in the bird feeder at our new house to see what kind of birds we have in our neighborhood! I always hear them chirping away in the morning. I'd definitely repurchase this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within an hour of putting this outside, I had a variety of birds around the yard checking it out. I didn't ask them, but I assume they enjoyed it! It's an easy, convenient way to take care of nature's sweet creatures!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect bar to divide between the birds and my chickens! It provides a lot of nutrients that I will benefit from. The price is decent for the size of the bar and I will make sure to buy more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked well! we put it out in the winter and birds were quick to find it and eat it up! We didn't have a great way to put it out, we ended up just putting it on a stump. Maybe they sell something to hold it, but I didn't see it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live out in the country in the middle of nowhere and love hearing birds over summer with my window open. However, I love both bluebirds and cardinals but see neither hardly ever. I heard that feeding mealworms can attract them but they're far too hard to feed. They always just end up wasted any time there's a breeze. I was so excited to not only see them in cake form but also that it specifically states that it attracts both bluebirds and cardinals. AHHHH! I love that. It's currently winter here, so I won't be seeing any bluebirds...but I'm extremely excited to get this set up in my bird feeding station and see what shows up! Also, these are BIG! I always buy suet cakes that are like a fourth of the size of this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My chickens love mealworms so I knew they'd love this! They loved pecking at the block and getting the different treats out of it. I like that it's not a mess everywhere because it's contained to a block form. I set it up on a masonry block for feeding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this seed cake out in my backyard (just put it in a covered spot, no feeder) and while it took a little bit for the birds to find it, they loved it! It was great to leave out during the snow we had as it stayed together in the cold and was available for the birds the whole time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lately in my area we've had a lot of cold rainy days which can take its toll on my flock. They get bored, they have less energy, and they seem to lay less. I feel like this high protein treat block gives them something to do while giving them a nice boost of protein.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The birds loved this mealworm seed cake! it was large and they had a lot of fun pecking at it. it didn't fall apart easily which is a good thing. some of the seeds were larger than I would have liked but it is a great product overall.
