This ice maker is easy to use

Pros: 1. The ice is really good the texture is porous, crunchy and satisfying. 2. It's a relatively quiet machine compare to the one I had before from costzone ice maker and water dispenser. I had to return that one because it didn't make any ice nor cooled the water. 3. The ice is much softer than the one we had from the whirlpool refrigerator before. 4. Self cleaning option 5. When the ice is melting, the machine is making more ice automatically(not sure if it's a pro or con) 6. It looks very good for my taste. Cons: 1. No child safety lock which is bad for me because I have 2 small children. 2. No removable water tank for easy hand cleaning. 3. A lot of ice dropping constantly by itself 4. The machine is not storing ice well, all the unused ice melting right back. We have our home on the temperature between 72 and 74 degrees all the time however the ice is keep on melting. 5. When the machine is made enough ice to fill its reservoir it's automatically signals that it's need more water because the water tank is empty, I fill up the tank until 5 beep signal and it seems starting to make ice right away but however every single time after I fill the tank the ice melting and the water from the melted ice going right back to the water tank and it signals that the tank is too full. The only option to fix that is to fill a full huge cup of ice to encourage the machine to take the water from the water tank. And I tried to fill the tank with less water however the machine is not staring to make ice until the signal of the full tank beeps. 6. No light to see where the ice goes at night. I had it for a week only and I hope I will be able to update this review if anything will go wrong but so far it was the best possible option for us to have ice in the old apartment where we can't fit the refrigerator with build in ice maker and water dispenser as we had in the different house where we had to move out from. I purchased 3 year extended warranty and I will see how this will work later. Hopefully this machine will serve us for a long time.

Makes good ice and looks nice. Good for use throughout the day. Generates some heat, super-bright LED lights, and taller than indicated (17-1/4”) so won't fit under some cabinets.

it was okay icewise... but it liked to drop ice randomly without notice

This piece of junk has dumped water on our counter 5 times in the short time owning it. We're afraid to add water to it due to this issue. The water level is not the issue since we keep it low due to fear leakage. This causes the "add water" light to constantly flash! I'm looking into returning it for a full refund!

DO NOT BELIEVE the fantastic reviews of this machine. The KBICE machine DOES NOT PERFORM as the information and the reviews state. Since plugging the KBICE machine in, it has performed POORLY. The ice machine will produce about 1 CUP measure and then take 15 minutes to produce another CUP of ice. The information I read that caused me to buy this machine stated that it will HOLD over 2 POUNDS of ice in reserve. The ice the KBICE produces IS NOT the soft chewable ice found in restaurants. We have tried to trouble shoot with no success. DO NOT BELIEVE THE INFORMATION!!

It makes a big noise all day and night. Will only produce 3 cups of ice at a time. Very disappointed with this purchase!!
