I used it on an older motorhome and it brought it back to original shine. I thinned it with 2 parts thinner and one part coating and rolled it on. First I did a small area to see how it would do. It came out great, so I did the whole RV. Once is settled out, the roller marks disappeard and it was just a continuous shine, very shiney. I used a shallow high quality roller. In smaller areas I used a foam roller. Both worked great.
Diamond Coat is the hardest finish i've used. Does wonderful work.
I brush 2 coats of this on my fishing lures and it works awesome. Self leveling, plenty of working time compared to epoxy. Durable, crystal clear. Best when thinned with 10% Xylol/Xylene. It don't eat my water based acrylic paints.
This is the second quart container I purchased as I really liked the first quart. My only problem with the new quart was that the cover was completely sealed on the new container. It took about 15 minutes to remove the cover and it was totally destroyed. Glad I had the cover from the previous can to use!!!
Very difficult to work with. Unable to use a foam brush/ roller. It ate the foam. Thick and sticky despite thinned. Then it has the issue of webbing strings when using it. Very frustrating. Expensive. Would like a refund.
my suggestion would be to KBS to stop putting a cheap low quality spray tip on the gloss cans, its garbage, it spews globs of clear that turn white with the most inconsistent spray pattern, i turned right around grabbed a spray tip from a satin can....guess what, shoots fine...i have been using kbs in a quart cans forever; shooting from spot gun, no problems. Shot aerosol satin, no problems. So, a logical conclusion would be that the aersol gloss works just as well....wrong!...the gloss aerosol tip is trash.....just highly disappointed; i use these products in a pro capacity building sports cars, motors, and wheel refinishing; and i am a pro trigger man...no humidity, 85 degree base temperature....was debating on getting into high temp ceramic series, but now i'm completely on the fence since an improper spray tip selection on a product is such a rookie mistake...probabvly taking my business somewhere else, just ruined two wheels that i now have to refinish, thanks kbs
