Not a playable instrument
It's a nice display item, but not for playing. The nylon strings are fine, but when attempting to tune them, the knobs would not remain in place. Any sufficient string tension would cause the knobs to unwind until the strings were loose, making it insufficient to play. The box said "for souvenir purposes only", but the Wal-Mart employee insisted that customers have come in to play them, and that "souvenir" just indicated that it was because it was for sale in the Hawaii souvenir section of the store.
