Best there is, and I've tried dozens of BBQ sauces over the years. It's a matter of personal taste, of course, like everything else in life. Me, I like blondes, my neighbor -- not so much. Anyway, I think it has just the right blend of sweetness, spiciness, and a hint of smokey flavor to make it the best. It has a deep rich color that I find appealing, and the consistency (viscosity) is not too thick and not too thin. I've been smoking all sorts of meat for decades. I use rubs, of course, but to finish off those ribs or for some extra flavor on the table ... well, you get the point.
Glad Walmart carries the babd Other than Amazon, It's difficult to locate a local store that sells this brand of BBQ sauce.
I have been using KC masterpiece since it came in the gallon moonshine looking bottles in the 80's. I miss those big old jugs, KC is a classic, have tried 50 or more others over the last several years but I keep coming back.
I liked this sauce the 1st time I used it. It goes well with meat, chicken %26 pork. I think the price is right %26 I usually buy more than one so I won't run out.
This is the best, imho. We love it. Wish Walmart.com offered it in the larger bottles for shipping, tho.
In my opinion, KC Masterpiece Bar BQ Sauce is the best. Has a nice sweet, with just enough spice to give it a kick in flavor. I use it as a dipping sauce for chicken, or when I'm making baked beans. best Bar-BQ Sauce I've found.
If you're trying to figure out which barbecue sauce to get, I suggest you try this one. In fact, if you already put your favorite BBQ sauce in your shopping cart, I suggest you grab a small bottle of original Masterpiece; because, maybe the one you always get isn't really your favorite sauce, maybe it's just the one you always get😉 Masterpiece is hands down my favorite barbecue sauce; and living in Texas, I've tried a lot of sauces. It's bold, sweet, flavor delivers with beef brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs. and even chicken thighs. It's slow moving and thick, treading the needle of pourable, brushing on smoothly, and staying put. It's got a rich, bold flavor with good amount of sweet stickiness and a more refined spiciness to bring out the flavor, not overpower it.
This is an excellent all-purpose BBQ sauce, which I have used for decades. It is excellent as the sauce for an outdoor BBQ, and I think it works well with chicken, beef or pork. I keep a bottle handy which I prefer to ketchup. It is great as a kind of dip to use with air-fryer roasted chicken. There are many more specialized sauces available, mostly at higher prices and often of a higher quality. But for a flavorful and economical sauce, I definitely recommend this.
Very Good Sauce but There Are Others I Like Better. Smoke Flavor Seems a Little Artificial ie: Synthetic But Not Bad, Just Not The Best I've Enjoyed.
This was one of 4 items I had ordered. I never received the barbecue sauce. And the iron I ordered in this group, had been opened and the box re-taped. I never even removed it from the sack and returned it. I forgot to mention the missing sauce. I was more focused on returning the more expensive used item Walmart tried to palm off on me. The girl retaped the box and I assume its back on the shelves for sale.
