Turns out butter, beer is butterscotch who knew?
I'm not really a Harry Potter fan so I didn't know what butter beer was. But I love fudge stripes so I gave it a chance. These are like fudge stripes with a butterscotch taste and they are delicious.

Didn't quite work that well
They're Keebler Fudge Stripes which is something I've always loved, with the Harry Potter flavor twist. Looks great on paper, but in reality, it just didn't work out that well. They're not BAD - they're just not GOOD. The flavor profile is a bit offputting and where I can eat multiples of the normal Fudge Stripe cookies happily, these you can't. One seems enough to last a while. Ended up giving them away to coworkers.

great smell, poor taste
These cookies smell like butterscotch. The snap and crunch of the cookie is good. The taste is not appetizing and the aftertaste of the cookie is just as bad. The aftertaste reminds me of burnt sugar because it is bitter and displeasing. I would not buy these again.

Taste Okay After Initial Bite
Good: The scent is butterscotch. The actual cookie flavor is alright. There's a gentle crunch to it. So not bad. The flavors of the icing and cookie combined work fine Bad: The white icing has a greasy/oily texture. It's the kind that leaves a residue at the roof of your mouth. It's quite unpleasant actually. Wouldn't buy again, only because of the icing.

Wanted To Like Them, But...
I wish they were a better flavor. Oily, weird butterscotch flavor. Unfortunately, they gave me an upset stomach. I had to discard the first package and donate the second sealed package.

Not a butter cookie!
I didn't like these cookies at all , I must have misread these . I thought they were butter cookies because that was what I had pulled up to search for and these came up on the list . Grandsons might eat them .
