These books are a wonderful collection for my 91 year-old mother who has dementia. They encourage her to speak and also trigger memories from her past. I read them to her in Spanish and she repeats what I say as she enjoys the pictures. It is the perfect reading level for someone who is struggling with the side effects of dementia. They have become part of our daily routine along with nursery rhymes. We were so blessed to find this collection of books!
