Its been a family go to for great fried chicken. just crush with your hands and add about 2 heaping soup spoonfuls of flour and mix. Dip chicken in whisked eggs, and tap surplus off edge of bowl. Dip in corn flakes and press down into chicken. Fry in hot oil as little as 1/4 of an inch.
My kids like to have this cereal for breakfast or lunch. I also use it in a lot of my recipes to use as a coating for orange chicken. Or I'll add it into a meatloaf. The use of the cereal are endless. Nice and crunchy and you can add your own sugar if you want..
Delicious cereal. We add a sprinkle of sugar to the cereal bowl with the cereal and milk. This is 100% our family’s favorite cereal. I also use it in a lot of recipes like making Chinese chicken. I like how we can add as little as much sugar that we want to eat because it’s plain. My toddlers eat it as a plain snack as well dry.
An American favorite for decades, corn flakes are a must have in every pantry. My family loves them with a few berries sprinkled on top followed by a spoonful of sugar. They're also good as a coating on chicken; just crush them up fine, add seasonings and dip your egg battered chicken pieces into the crushed corn flakes. Bake until the chicken is done. The corn flakes add a level of crunchy goodness that is unsurpassed.
I’m in my Corn Flakes for breakfast stage right now- taking a break from Rice Krispies. These are perfect- no sugary taste just a nice crunch and flavor that’s a perfect background for fruit and any other add ins you like. Bonus- great coating for chicken or fish. This size box is an excellent value as well.
Over the years, the taste of Kellogg's Corn Flakes has not changed. They have kept to the same 4 simple ingredients, providing a healthy breakfast, a healthy snack and a healthy alternative for cooking.
Most times the crunch is perfect, and then there are times I've bought them and the crunch was extremely too hard. The price is outrageous 😳, but for now I haven't found any others with the right crunch (most of the time), nor the flavor. I eat them not only for breakfast, but sometimes brunch or dinner, for that refreshing sweet cold crunchy taste. No additives like any fruit, just my sweet crunchy cornflakes.
I think cornflakes changed their recipe recently. The flakes seem to be larger flakes (that could be a good thing) but they baked them too long. Consequently the flakes are way too crispy to the point of almost choking us. The UPC label says: 0 3800027102 1 and another number says K 233156 000 NLI%23 15907b.
I bought this because of its minimal ingredients and lack of toxic preservatives, but I learned they put BHT and possibly other preservatives in the packaging to avoid having to disclose it in the ingredients. A plastic bag treated with BHT permeates the food. That's the point. I contacted the company to confirm. Yep. I used to buy this regularly. Not anymore.
I will stop ordering from Walmart, I was sick and ordered groceries to be delivered to me. Walmart waited over three hours then cancelled my order. I reordered the groceries because my kids needed food for dinner, only for them to cancel again. I ordered the items again, they took my money, then cancelled the order again. this when on four times, now I'm stuck waiting for a refund that will take 10 business days and I'm broke so I can't get food for my kids until the refund comes. I know Walmart is a big company and won't miss my money but I'll never shop there again.
