Kellogg's Raisin Bran Original Breakfast Cereal, High Fiber, 16.1 oz

I usually get the Great Value version of this cereal, but this time I decided to splurge. Let me tell you that there is definitely a difference. The raisins are big and soft, unlike the GV brand's being small and rock hard. The bran flakes are perfectly flavored, again unlike the GV brand, which are rather bland. The best part of the Kellogg's offering is that the granola clusters are actually visible. So, spend the extra $1.50 and get something that you will actually enjoy.

I was curious about this because it takes a familiar Raisin Bran and gives it a little something extra. The raisins and crunchy flakes are still the main attraction, but the touch of cinnamon adds a nice warmth to the flavor. The flakes have a good crunch when you first add the milk, and I like that they don't immediately turn into mush. The raisins add some sweetness and give the cereal a different texture from the flakes. The protein is another nice difference from traditional Raisin Bran. Each serving has 9 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber, so it feels like a more substantial breakfast than a typical bowl of cereal. I also like the family-size box because cereal is something that's easy to go through when everyone is grabbing breakfast. This is one I'd happily eat with milk, but I could also see adding it to yogurt for some extra crunch. Overall, this is a good option if you already enjoy Raisin Bran but want a little more protein and a hint of cinnamon. It's familiar enough to feel like Raisin Bran, but different enough that it doesn't feel like exactly the same cereal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cereal are definitely a preference for some but not most because of the combination of crunchy and sweet with the added raisins. If you are looking for a high fiber and nutrient rich cereal then these are for you. They tend to get soggy fast but some people don’t mind that. Overall I would recommend these for those that are looking for a good balance of fiber and sweetness.

I acquired this cereal with the expectation that it would be a suitable alternative to the raisin bran variety, given my preference for blueberries over raisins. However, I was mistaken, as the product contained no discernible blueberries. This was a significant disappointment. I recommend that the product include visible blueberries, similar to those found in Special K.

would have been 5 stars except when the girl loaded my 5 items the the back floorboard of my truck she threw my 24 pack of Coke cans on top of my Raisin bran crunch cereal and crushed the box and it's content. so my cereal was in tiny crumbled pieces. I mean I only had 5things and she chose to throw the heaviest thing on top.

I like this product but the raisins have too much sugar on them. I also have problems with delivery people dropping my bags of groceries in front of my door and damaging items. Recently I couldn't get a refund on my coffee maker. Will shop elsewhere.

Says it has freeze dried blueberries and clusters. The box I got had neither.. just blueberry flavored flakes. What a disappointment. I like the raisin Bran crunch, so I figured I'd try the blueberry. I guess the crunch and blueberries missed the box I got..

Don't waist ur money. Absolutely nothing blueberry about it... not the color, not the taste nothing. It's literally just plain flakes!! No. raisins no blueberries no flavor, no crunch clusters I mean NOTHING!!! I almost called the company because I said this has to be a mistake!

what a complete DISAPOINTMENT!!!!!! i was so excited until I poured my first bowl, there were only like 2 blueberries in the entire bowl, Upon further review, I realized that the WHOLE BOX is like that. Wont be buying theses again.

I think Kellogg's put some of Clark Griswold's non-nutritive cereal varnish on the bran flakes in this cereal because those flakes didn't soften up a bit, let alone get soggy. I thought I was gonna crack a tooth if I kept eating it. Lol I'm not kidding… those flakes were hard!
