this is a classic, a staple,..........................it's popularity my come and go, but it is a classic and a staple. try it, you'll like it...................but don't make rice krispie treats out of it or you might just end up making treats every week......so tasty, and so easy to make.
My family loves rice Krispy cereal. My grandchildren used to listen to it once the milk was added to it. Now all of my grandchildren are grown and my great grandchildren are listening to the sounds, most importantly loving to eat the cereal. I grew up eating rice Krispy and other Kellogg cereals. They are great.
I so prefer the on brand of Rice Krispies. They’re toasted to perfection. Sometimes the generics are overdone, not visually burned but they can taste dry. The on brand tends to be perfect. I also love this gigantic box because it lasts a while. The box is pretty thin so it doesn’t maintain integrity but I don’t really care. I love a big bowl of Rice Krispies with whole milk for dessert, or breakfast.
I don't care what anyone says but Cocoa Krispies are the best cereal, cocoa pebbles get soggy too quick. These are the perfect amount of crunchy especially if you don't put too much milk and they just have a very good flavor.
I like rice krispies. I have eaten them as a kid, always put sugar on them. As an adult, I don't put sugar on them and they are great without sugar
Heres a *GAME CHANGER:*: ADD A ½ CUP OF SWEETENED COCONUT TO THE MELTED MARSHMALLOWS... PUT ½ KRISPY mixture in a greased,' salted buttered "serving pan then sprinkle 1 cup mini marshmallows evenly over pressed 1st layer of krispy mixture add remaining krispies on top of marshmellows, press down with bands holding a flat piece of parchment paper press to set.. No mess No sticky hands neither! 'You're Welcome".
How can a cereal get a review? Add Snap, Crackle and Pop to it. These tiny elves have cornered the market on Rice Krispies, making them even better than just plain krispies. OMGOSH, make Krispie Treats out of the chocolate cereal and add little chocolate chips. I could pass out happy right now. It's a sugar coma at its finest.. Its chocolate goodness in a bowl, but not overpowering, its just right. Eat them in chocolate milk even, makes no difference, they are fantastic. They have big crunch, they are not just for Kids, and worth the Billion dollars we pay for cereal each and every day. Enjoy, and have breakfast with your kids.
Always good as cereal or a snack. Want an easier way to make rice krispies treats? Do a web search for one pan rice krispies treats in the oven, game changer. Three ingredients, rice krispies, marshmallows and butter. Gives them a really nice crunch and brown butter taste.
I have cereal for breakfast several times a week. In my bowl is always a layer of a high fiber cereal like Shredded Wheat and Bran, then I fill the rest of the bowl with Rice Krispies. Rice Krispies are a non- wheat product, low-sodium, low-carb and low calorie. You can have 1 1/2 cups of Rice Krispies for only 150 calories, but best of all, it is delicious!
I’m not writing this review so much about the product itself. I order Rice Krispies frequently and like them. But either the store or shipping delivery driver caused this box and the krispies inside to smell of strong fragrance as if a cleaning product was sprayed on the box and seeped inside or dryer sheets was rubbed all over it. I have chemical sensitivities as it is, but even others in my house who don’t have sensitivities found the smell to be really strong. I wish Walmart would address this. This has happened sooo many times to various products.
