[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a nice sweet breakfast treat! When you're looking for something that is healthy but you want just a little sweetness added, this will do the trick. The texture of the flakes isn't horrible, but the milk can get them a little soggy so don't add too much too quickly if eat eat slowly. That's my only word of caution if you're a texture person. Other than that, it's a delightful cereal that I'll definitely purchase again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the Special K Triple Berry Blend Cereal. It comes in a nice sized box. It is super fresh and the flavor combinations are fantastic. Flakes have a good texture and berries soften up nicely in milk. We love berries, chocolate and whole grains so this is perfect. Contains a wonderful amount of fiber and vitamins. Makes for a good breakfast or snack. The whole family enjoys this cereal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to try Special K Cereal Triple Berry Blend and I absolutely love the berry blend with a hint of chocolate. I have enjoyed this as a bowl of cereal added to yogurt and grabbed a hand full for a quick snack . The milk will be chocolate flavored from the crunchy flakes. If you are looking for a cereal that has low calorie content, you can have just over a cup full at 150 calories. The packaging is simple enough to open and close to keep fresh. With amount of fruit in the cereal it has become a new favorite.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blend of berry and chocolate cereal is I sweet treat for a morning bowl of cereal with milk or added into your yogurt in place of granola. My kids like their cereal dry, so we tried it without milk too, and they enjoyed the crunchy flakes and soft, dried strawberries.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Special K Triple Berry Blend with Dark Chocolate, and I have to say, it's pretty good. The crunchy bits mixed with sweet berries and a hint of dark chocolate make it feel like a little treat in the morning. It's not too sweet, which I really appreciate, and it gives me that nice boost to start my day. Plus, my kids loved it too, so it's a win-win for breakfast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size shocked me at first but oddly enough it's about the same size volume wise as in the stores but just slightly taller. Usually I can squish a special k chip with my tongue but this is a mini workout for your mouth and possibly the roof of your mouth if you're like me. I like that it has a bunch of the daily vitamins and fiber you will need in your daily diet but definitely not enough to satisfy the daily limit. It's very fresh tasting and when they say sweet and tart berries, they mean it. You can almost taste every berry individually and the chocolate part is not heavy but more of a cocoa type taste. Overall, it's great but I just don't see myself grabbing a back to back bowl in the same sitting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually really enjoyed the taste of this cereal blends—it has good mild flavor and has a nice crunch, especially with cold milk. The berries and dark chocolate give a balanced blend of tartness and slight bittersweet richness. I like that it has antioxidant-rich superfood ingredients (yay for berries and dark chocolates!) which makes me feel like I'm making a healthier choice in the morning. That said, the ingredients list could be better. There are 13 grams of sugar per serving, which is a bit much for a cereal that's marketed as a health-forward option. Also, it's a little high in sodium for my liking. I just wish they'd clean it up a bit more. All in all, it's a delicious cereal that's easy to enjoy, but it could definitely use an upgrade when it comes to the nutrition label.
This is the smallest box of cereal I've ever seen. It's not even close to the normal size of a typical cereal box. Key in photo to compare
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give this cereal zero stars. I'm not sure what Special K was thinking when they taste tested this one. I've never disliked one of their cereals before but this just taste like straight-up chemicals.
