Kellogg's Special K Plus Strawberry Creme High Protein Zero Added Sugar Cereal, Protein Breakfast, 8.1 oz

The strawberry flavor is sweet, but not too sweet, and it's got a satisfying crunch. It's a carb- healthy breakfast cereal (4g net carbs/serving) and it tastes great with unsweetened vanilla almond milk (1g net carbs/serving), so it's a healthy choice for diabetics. Last week, I heard a rumor that this product was discontinued. I sure hope not. I bought 12 boxes just in case.

I'm always looking for ways to fit in more protein and also consume less sugar, and this breakfast cereal gives me both of those in one sitting! Very impressed with the taste and it doesnt get soggy quickly. The zero sugar doesn't have a funny taste or aftertaste. Has a decent strawberries and creme flavor that pairs wonderfully with my vanilla oat or soy milk! Great that it even has iron and potassium. My only complaint is the size of the box for the price. It's very pricey for cereal, though about the same as competitors in the protein cereal arena. Love that it has cleaner ingredients and is suitable for vegans.

Special K Zero cereals are the only sweet cold cereal that my husband likes, and he is a diabetic who loves sweet cereal. So it has been a lesson to find the cereal. He loved the original, which was cinnamon, and now that seems to be off the market so we are doing the strawberry, which he also loves. It’s great to give him something sweet that doesn’t send his carbs over the moon.

It’s a good amount for the serving size, it tastes decent, however, after eating some, I noticed it sort of leaves a residue on your tongue which gives the slight silky texture and the aroma of a crayon. For that fact alone, it should not be priced $7

I was very excited when buying this new cereal because it's a quick, easy, and somewhat healthy breakfast compared to traditional cereal. I love most other types of Special K cereal, but this new cereal has missed the mark. First thing is the taste, it does not taste like real strawberries and cream at all, it has a very strong artificial strawberry taste to it that overtakes every other flavor, similar to the artificial flavoring in cough medicine, and the after taste didn't get any better with or without milk. Next was the texture, this cereal doesnt have much of a crunch to it, even while eating dry. After adding milk the first bite quickly turned into a very grainy and powder like mush and is definitely not the texture I'm looking for when eating cereal. Overall this cereal was very disappointing and not worth the high price at all and I would not recommend this to anyone.

There's not much I won't eat. Until today. I tried...gah, how I tried to like it. The instant taste of strawberries is well over in an instant. I powdered up some freeze dried %26 left some intact %26 not even they could bring a level of "want it" to this cereal. You have to also do maybe 4 pieces at a time; use a small spoon %26 even then it's almost too much. Because the more you have in your mouth chewing the More it Expands %26 becomes something otherworldly in a most unholy way. Texture is okay until the chewing starts. Do not feed this to toddlers. I am not kidding. The bulk it creates in your mouth is quite unsettling and I had to spit it out 2xs before just drinking the milk from my bowl and throwing it away.

Complete waste of money! I have been eating sugar-free for 20 years, and this is honestly the most disgusting thing I have tried in recent memory. It has a terribly bitter and strong chemical taste to it, and the texture is reminiscent of styrofoam. I spit it out immediately and am tossing the rest of the box. I will be sticking with Catalina Crunch from now on!!!

This cereal is terrible. I started eating the first bowl of the cereal and I could not finish it. I had to throw away the rest of it. It tasted like powdered mush, and I almost gagged on it. I love all of Kellogg’s breakfast cereals, but not this one. Shame on Kellogg’s for producing an inferior cereal like this.

I am trying to eat healthier so I bought this because it seems perfect for what I need so I poured a bowl today and I tried to eat it and it never got better every Spoonful was just as bad as the first I ended up giving it to my dogs and I am going to throw the rest of the box in the trash

This item has a very sweet and chemical smell. The taste is horrible. it's artificially sweet taste that would make your hair stand up. The crunch stays for a while even when soaked in milk then it turns to rubber. I was extremely disappointed in it ended up throwing the balance of it out. save your money don't buy this. A disappointment from Kellogg s I expected at least some similarity to their regular five-star special k brand.
