I love that this cereal has protein in it. I just wish it had a bit more flavor. It’s a very subtle cinnamon taste, which is yummy,‘but it is very subtle (which can be good for some people if they have taste/nausea sensitivities). Overall it’s great to have more protein %26 less sugar, so this is a great find!
My husband eats so much of it I consider it sort of animal chow for people. A little high sugar and low-fat to to be the perfect macronutrient and I'm being a bit facetious because obviously it's better to eat lots of fruits and vegetables or at least in addition to the special k ;-) but a nice balanced protein containing crunchy thing to snack on where it becomes part of your nutrition for the day not just extra calories.
100% of daily iron. My iron was low at last doctor check up. I researched some ways to increase it and besides eating healthy and adding spinach to my salads, I’ve added this to my daily morning routine. This with vitamin C helps the iron absorb. We never turn out of this cereal in my house.
This Special K has 10 grms of protein in the cereal itself. For those who complain that the Origional has 13 grms of protein so it's better need to read the description. It has 7 grms of protein, the additional 6 grms comes from added milk. So this cereal has more protein. It's tasty and I know I'm getting more protein. Thanks Kellogs!
This is not a nod to special k - not crunchy or crisp, it was cinnamon and to me it felt like the stay fresh had been breached it was not when I received.
Most deliveries are damage. I can understand if it happens once, but this happens several times. I’m not sure if I would like to continue with your service.
this is not special k. the flakes- "flakes" -are more like bran flakes. flat tasteless meal. definition not worth $5 box or any amount really because it's not special k.
I normally like special k but this one I don't care for it. it's very plain tasting kind of like cardboard. but normally the special case have a really good flavor and everything. but I can't taste the flavor really whatsoever. and I love banana.
I like the cinnamon taste but that's about sums it up. The flakes are too thick and not crunchy and overall I tried one bowl and threw the rest of the box away.
Thanks for nothing Ferrero! Kellogg just sold the MI cereal factory to Ferrero, the Italian confectionery giant. While this was happening they began shrinkflating the box’s printing and contents right before our eyes. The boxes are still larger…must be next though. The deal was for $3.1 Billion…so they shrink everything in order to charge us more per oz so they can make a massive profit immediately! Soon it will be $5 for an individual bowl! Who cares about how it tastes at this point! My rating reflects the shrinking! My mother worked at the Battle Creek factory long ago. I used to find that a good memory when i visited there and marveled at the machinery and cereal smells as a child. Now i think she would just be sad about it. I for one am really ticked off with the taking from consumers all day every single day now from most food manufacturers. Disgusted!
