I love this portable ice-making machine. You can choose between small and large cubes and the machine will tell you when to refill the resoiver. This is a handy product for those without an ice maker or for those who want this portable machine out on the patio. Just supply electricity.

Solid option for ice maker

I do recommend this Kenmore model ice maker, but I have to warn you that it is a noisy little bugger. It makes ICE like nobody's business. Two sizes that work well either way. It' pumps it out as long as there is water in the tank. I strongly recommend bottled water, it assures good tasting ice. The drain plug is also a bit tricky, but with care and patience you will master it. The handle makes it portable. The scoop is an added comfort for removing the cubes and apply them directly in your favorite glass. Oh, besides the noise, it also has very exposed vents. This means that the fan will push out serious gusts...warm gusts I meant to say. If you can accept these slight imperfections, then I strongly recommend it.

Like a fan running on high. By no means a dealbreaker but something to be aware of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice ice maker but kind of noisy. A holder on the side for the scooper would be a nice feature. I like that it can make up to 26lbs in a day and a batch within 10 mins. You can change it between small and large cubes which is nice as well.
