I love this! It looks great! It lowers your toast with the push of a button and raises it when completed. It reminds me of the Sunbeam I had and loved many years ago. I'm guessing they licensed Kenmore to use the technology. Does a fabulous job with lots of variable settings.

I wanted a wide slot toaster with a fully retractable cord and the Kenmore elite fits the bill

I love this toaster Normally wouldn't spend that much but I wanted something that would last so I thought if I spent a little more money it might be worth it

Fancy but gets the job done. Follow the directions for first time use. At first it seems to only toast one side but after a few uses it toasts evenly.

This is a great toaster with settings to toast anything!

The toaster was great but the read out was too difficult for me to see, so unfortunately I had to return it and purchase a different brand which is working out nicely. Walmart return was smooth and easy and the staff very kind and friendly.

i expected more from Kenmore. All the bells and whistles that i paid over 100 dollars for and this toaster makes mediocre toast at best. The two slice function wants to put out warm bread. The 4 slice function doesnt toast evenly. I would not purchase this toaster again.

Well, this toaster's idea of a “golden brown” is more like “one-sided wonder.” If you're into unique toast experiences where only one side gets the crispy treatment, then this might just be your thing. Its like permanent bagel mode so if your looking for a spendy cool toaster solely for toasting bagels this might be the toaster for you. Just remember to put your bagel in backwards and it will turn out fine.

Ran the toaster empty on 9 for a few cycles per the instructions. Noticed that the cycle time reduced with consecutive runs - a promising sign. Toasting 2 slices of bread in the front slot at the recommended 5 setting produced "burnt" toast that I would not eat. Trying again with 2 slices in the front slot at the 4 setting resulted in one side nicely toasted but the other side barely done at all. The front slot only 2 slice option was the primary reason for purchasing this toaster. While doing this review (days later) tried this 2 slice test again with exactly the same result. Photo of these slices attached, one slice the front side, still a little overdone, the other turned over showing the back side. Didn't even try the "3" setting. This toaster will be returned.

This toaster is undeniably stylish and packed with cool features like powered lowering and raising. It was the most expensive toaster I could find at Walmart.ca, but unfortunately, this is a classic case of "more money doesn't mean more better." When it comes to actually toasting, this model really falls short. It might work if you only want to toast bagels— but only if you put them in backwards without using the bagel setting. The toaster browns one side while merely warming the other, as if it's permanently stuck in bagel mode, but ironically, it toasts the opposite side of what the bagel setting specifies. Overall, it's a disappointment, and I can't recommend it. I'll definitely be returning this one.
