[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kenneth Cole Black has a bold scent that gets me noticed in a small crowd. The aroma of a woodsy note and cedar seem strongest to my senses. The scent is complex with hints of floral as well. The spray disperses across my skin evenly and has a nice light mist to it. The smell can be ideal for daytime or night time occassions.

It is made from a blend of ginger, mandarin orange, basil, water mint, nutmeg, incense, cedar, lotus, exotic woods, amber, musk, violet leaf, and suede, so it has allot of components going on there. All I will say is that I really like it and I will purchase it again.

I used a few squirts in the morning and did not have to reapply. The packaging was ok but the bottle was real nice. Thank you Kenneth Cole!

It's a great scent for getting the attention of the woman around you. It's a more sophisticated smell and a little goes a long way. This cologne lasts all day long without having to re-applying it.

It kind of has a nostalgic smell to me while still being a modern, fresh and clean smell. Some colognes I get tired of during the day, but not this one. It helps me feel relaxed and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I receive a new scent, I cannot wait to wear it to work the next day to see what happens. to me, that is one factor in deciding on how effective a new fragrance is: how well others notice it and compliment me on it. After applying a couple of sprays in the a.m. on both my shirt collar and exposed skin/neck from the attractive, easy to use black bottle, I was on my way to the office. After applying, the scent it is very clean and inviting and seems appropriate for daytime use. The product description lists a whole host of notes I won't even pretend to pick out, I just know that I like how it all blends together and how it smells. However, to me, the scent does quickly dissipate. It is barely noticeable after a short time unless you smell closely where the fragrance was applied, but it at least does last a very long time in that state. On this day, no one I was in close proximity to at work seemed to notice it or made comment. But just because it is subtle, does not make this a bad product at all. I actually like that it is a subtle smell only noticed when people get extra close, so it isn't overpowering to others around you. This also makes it great for a everyday use fragrance. The scent itself I find to be very enjoyable. It seems very attractive and made me feel more confident and fresh/clean all day long. And in the end that is what is important.
