I have always been a fan of this product. The ability to get it shipped to me at home is amazing! It smells great and works wonders on my natural curly hair. Tames my frizz for days! No need to wash every day.

I like it love the scent think I got the wrong one

Martha October 7, 2024

I've used these a few times %26 I like it love the scent, but I believe I got the wrong kind. I thought I was getting what my stylist uses. Just a de tangling/leave in conditioner. This has that in it but it still kinda makes my hair a little stiff not sticky but definitely not what my stylist uses either. Hers also has a heat protection in it with the leave in conditioner/detangling . I'm going to have to ask her exactly the name. There is so many of these products with similar names by Kenra.

Best leave-in conditioner for fine thin, oily hair

justme December 14, 2023

My fine, thin hair has a tendency to go flat, stringy. For years, Aussie Hair Insurance was amazing: affordably priced, high quality ingredients, and most importantly, NO alcohols of any description were part of the formula. It worked a treat. Then corporate games of capitalism, Aussie bought and sold, etc., chemists told to find cheaper ways, first the finer ingredients went, then aroma was changed several times from coconut to whatever perfume was cheap, and it smelled it, and then .... then... oh aye, here comes all the alcohol fillers. ALL alcohols, by the essence of their chemical nature are dehydrators. They leach moisture from whatever they touch. I have read lame, "articles" all over the internet about how the alcohol will evaporate and rinse out so it has no effect, which is nothing but lies. If alcohol is in a product--it doesn't matter the iteration, cetearyl, stearyl, etc. it's still a dehydrating element, and my hair will go dull and lifeless. I also have oily hair, so don't think alcohol is probably fine for oily hair. It is not. It leaches water moisture from the hair shaft. So it's been a sad, disappointing 5 or 10 (15 ?) years since Aussie Hair Insurance stopped being actual hair insurance. I have tried entirely too many things, have even tried some ridiculously expensive leave-in conditioners that had alcohol or alcohols in them, thinking "well, [x-OH] is in this, but the brand has a reputation.... result? alcohol dehydrates, and dear price tags do not change this. I have tried several that do not list any alcohol, but ultimately, they seem formulated for folk with more dry hair, as there is no shine, just the dull patina one gets with oils. Kenra, imo, is on the pricier side of things; there have definitely been times in my life when I'd not have been able to afford it, whereas, I was always able to afford Aussie Hair Insurance. Happily, at the moment my budget can permit the purchase of Kenra. I make no excuses for the price, but even if you are living well below the poverty line and you have hair like mine, scrimping to afford this for at least use on days when appearance is critical, it will be worth it. And that's why all these words. Kenra is the first leave-in hair conditioner that I've found that is actively in production that does what Aussie Hair Insurance did from the late 1980's until whenever it was they started messing about, corrupting their formula, I think sometime in the early noughties. I carefully read the Kenra ingredients, it looked chemically sound. I don't mean from a vegan or "new age natural" perspective: I've a few years of uni chemistry. I mean the formula read as if it would perform as hoped. It IS chemically sound, and NO alcohols! Based on the listing, I bought 2 bottles, willing to take the loss if it was another bad thing. I used it 3 times and knew I needed to order 2 more, as the price was better than locally. I paid roughly $13/bottle. Decent price. Aye: get it!
