Good bang for the buck

Max April 27, 2018

Extremely happy with my purchase thus far (one month since purchase). Ride everyday, only one flat due to road conditions (tumbleweed thorns). Brake and gear cables needed trimming between 6 to 10 inches, and way to many stickers (took them all off). Overall good value for $99

Great bike for the price!

Calikrypto May 17, 2018

I buy a couple of these a year to put engines on. They look great and ride great. Sure they are cheap and not the greatest quality but for $99, how long do you really expect it to last. Haven't had any issues with gears or flats ever. Most of the issues i've had have been with it being put together wrong by the third party assembly people. I'll keep buying these bikes and looking forward to the blue one this year!

Great Bikes Just add Bearing grease and your good.

SkyPeople March 2, 2019

Just picked up this bike in stores from a local Walmart was on sale for $50 out the door!! What a deal. I disassembled the wheels to fit it into my car and went home. Now like all Walmart bikes that can be cheap. You can make them better. I add bearing grease to both wheels and bearings, I also remove the pedals and crank and grease those bearings, and the handle bar bearings and I don't have any issues ever. They always ride great once I add Grease most don't come greased, or have little to no grease. ps. I use these for motors once I finish with the bike.

For the price you can't find a better deal

ZebraSmith October 31, 2018

This bike is not the best but in its price range it's very hard to beat. You do have to make sure it's assembled properly but I recommend that any time you put you life on two wheels of any kind. I'm 5'10” and it does feel a little small or short but that can be great depending on your size. Other than that it's very comfortable and works as expected. It's a lot of bike for the money just don't expect miracles, lol.

Good value for the price

Don July 9, 2018

Good value for the price. I ordered online and had it shipped. Brakes and shifter weren't even remotely close to being adjusted correctly, but it isn't terribly difficult to get everything working. Only complaint is that the front wheel isn't true. All the spokes are tight but it wobbles a good 1/2 inch or so from side to side. Hopefully customer service will be able to send me a new wheel. I purchased the extended service plan; for $6 it was a no-brainer.

Sturdy Nostalgic Bike

WindRocker May 23, 2019

Decent bike for the price. The first one I ordered arrived with broken spokes and warped rear wheel. The screw for the cup holder was also missing. I sent it back and received another Bayside which luckily had true rims and that is surprising considering several of the shipping zip-ties were broken. It does have a dent in the front fender from everything being loose in the box. I motorized it so I don't know much about how it peddles. It does appear to be a sturdy bicycle with a comfortable seat. The handlebars are kinda U-shaped which took a little getting used to. I'm experimenting with motorizing bicycles and the bike I ordered before the Bayside was the Roadmaster Granite Peak. The Bayside price is $40 more than the Roadmaster which in my mind is hard to justify.

You get what you pay for

Tedward August 9, 2018

Okay, so It's ben 2 months since I bought this bike. I'm getting little frustrated. First, the rear tire had a side blow out. Took a bit of looking to find a blue tire and once replaced, I could see how much the others had faded. Now I'm having cassette issues, feels like a bearing problem in the cassette. It skips and jolts when I'm not pedaling and knocks the chain off the front sprocket. I'm getting a serious case of "what's next?" with this. Still a joy to ride, though.

Bighorse May 28, 2019

I would give it a no star if i could. This is my second bike and it was a return because the rim was bent again. Im very unhappy. I paid full price again, i dont want to but another bike from walmart. I didnt receive a discount, or volcher or nothing. I spend alot of money at walmart. After all the money spent, i dont feel like im appreciated there.
