I am so glad I tried this e-bike. The paddling assistant power is wild, compare to other e-bikes, feels like I am driving a Tesla! The battery life is displayed on the control panel which helps me to plan the travel distance. I love the quality and design overall.
This is the best purchase I have ever made. I am a big/ tall person and it fits me perfectly. I use the bike every day. The pedal assist is awesome and very powerful. Great for those long incline hills. I explore more now with the help of my e bike. I LOVE IT!!!
this bike has an awesome motor. goes super fast. going up hills is a breeze on this thing! don't hesitate on this bike, trust me you won't regret it..
The bike worked like a charm. Downhill, uphill, flat, sideways, you're going fast no matter which way your going. Really enjoyed the experience.
This bike exceeded my expectations, put together well, no adjustments needed, 2 day delivery. I still get a decent workout and it levels out those hills I used to struggle on. Longest trip was 40 miles , still plenty of battery left. Good bike for the $$$.
Seems to be a really good bike with 3 levels of assist, disc brakes and front shocks, battery does well. My only negative concern is that it didn't come with a throttle or full electric mode...I did not know this up front, so..... You have to keep pedaling to get assist. Other than that one gripe, it was easy to assemble from the box and seems like a solid bike altogether
I purchased this bike as an alternative to commuting on the bus. It's the first electric bike I've owned, but I've rented or borrowed a couple of others. I am very impressed with the power of this thing! I took it out for the first time yesterday and rode the same route that I had taken on a Lime electric bike a couple times before. Going up a particularly steep hill was pretty hard on the Lime bike (I'm not in great shape) but it was much easier and faster with this Kent bike. The tires are wide enough to absorb bumps in the road and give good traction on dirt and gravel. Having shocks on the front has been great for hopping down off the curb and going over small obstacles. Now for quibbles and complaints: The AC power adapter gets very very hot when charging the battery. The battery itself doesn't seem to be removable on mine. I've emailed Kent about not being able to take the battery out, but haven't heard back from them, so that's disconcerting. I'm worried about being able to splash through puddles or ride in rain and snow. I'd like to be able to do those things, but the electronics don't seem to be adequately sealed and protected from the elements. Lastly, many of the parts were loose in the box, which was mangled in shipment, but everything was there and nothing appeared to be bent out of shape or damaged. I've given the bike 4/5 stars because, although I'm very impressed with it, I would like to be able to remove the battery. If Kent gives me the run-around or never responds, I'll detract another star, if they take good care of me, I'll add a star. I think this can and should be a five star bike, but not if Kent gives one star customer service.
So far so good. Sturdy bike. Good size for 6'4" 200lb rider. Range of about 25 miles tops. High speed setting is great but big differwnce between that and mid speed. Low speed is almost useless considering weight of bike. It is heavy, but most is battery pack. Chinese made tires are pretty cheap and youll need better tubes. Brakes work great. Rear gears already a bit janky after only 200 miles or so.
Overall a good ebike so far. It didn't come with quick release on the front wheel as described. I don't think the battery is a Samsung battery as described either. Be aware that this frame is big, I'm 5'10" and if the bike was any taller it would not work for me. I have found that most 26" ebikes are too short though given their top tube length is usually around 17". The battery charger gets hot, I plan on making sure to keep an eye on it while charging. First ride I took was about 5 to 7 miles, using no power to high power and the charge level never dropped. Riding with no power feels like riding any other bike, although I did find myself missing the additional gears that a 21 speed provides, especially on downhills. High power on uphills makes them a breeze. Recommend based on price.
The bike arrived as promised, assembly was easy and simple. The bike construction appears to be of good quality, but the battery was DOA and would not charge. The manufacturer can't deliver a new battery in a timely manner so bike had to be returned. Ordered a new one, hopefully better luck this time.
