Kentucky Performance Prod NeighLox Advanced Powder 8lb

Amazing product. We use it on our quarter horse and thoroughbred. Both travel weeks at a time to shows throughout the year. This product has kept their GI track consistent with no issues. Thoroughbred has gained weight, and we have been able to decrease his grain consumption significantly. We tried other supplements prior to this but did not see much of an improvement with them. My vet recommended KPP products and haven't strayed from them since we started using them.

I decided to try this product after reading a review by someone with an old horse that had recurrent diarrhea. My horse, a 17 yr old WB, has been through it all: colic surgery too. His most persistent problem has been cow-pie diarrhea with a watery portion after passing manure. Also, worried about dehydration and colic too. He'd been treated with everything from sucralfate to Bio-Sponge, all to only very temporary results. I even had a specialist come out and Ultrasound his hind gut etc, all normal of course, $500 later. Any change in grass or environment (dry to wet, temperature changes, seasonal ) was enough to start the watery portion issue at least. No fun washing and or wrapping a tail in the winter, not to mention the extreme weightlifting of cleaning waterlogged piles out of his stall. This product has eliminated all of that, for months now. This is the only thing that seems to treat his hind gut issues. I also recommend Triple Crown Senior Feed and reducing hay amount to ease b urden on hind gut. Couldn't be happier!

My 17 y.o. horse had colic surgery years back and has been very sensitive all along to any and all changes in the grass, weather etc. I could expect weeks of diarrhea and/or watery portions after passing manure any time he ate wet grass, had a change to richer hay, seasonal temp changes etc. This product along with SmartDigest Ultra are the only things that have gotten him to normal manure. Almost no "drippy butt" all winter long, even turned out after wet, snowy weather. We'll see how he does going into spring, he'll still wear a grazing muzzle, and I'll update my review then.

I have used Neigh-Lox Advanced on a very sensitive OTTB who has been through ulcer treatment on two separate occasions. The first time, we treated based on the symptoms only(lost a lot of weight, coat condition was poor, lethargic, grumpy, bite marks on his left side). He was not put on an Ulcergard maintenance dose after treatment, but I tried several other alternatives (i.e. oat flour, pumpkin seeds, aloe vera juice, etc). The second time ulcers were suspected, we had him scoped. He was put on the maintenance dose of Ulcergard after going through the second treatment. I noticed that he was showing symptoms of ulcers again, even with the maintenance dose of UG. I decided to try Neigh-lox advanced after reading reviews and suspecting hind gut issues. This is the ONLY product that has worked. He was taken off of UG when we started the Neigh-lox advanced and has not been on a single dose of UG since. He has been to clinics, shows, etc and has not skipped a beat. His coat is shinier than ever, his personality is normal, and he has no bite marks on his side. I highly recommend this product as an alternative for ulcer prevention.

This product has kept my mare comfortable and colic free for over a year and a half. She was always very crabby when grooming especially over the left flank area and had an overall crabby attitude during collected work. She was colicing frequently but was always something that could be worked out without calling the vet every single time. I had her scoped and the results were unimpressive. I tried other products but they never seemed to work like this one. She is not crabby and no colic! This product is the best for all around gut health and palatable for the picky eater.

Tyler was on Neigh-Lox Advanced for two months (2 scoops 2x a day) and then we just switched him over to Neigh-Lox and he is doing great! He would be so unhappy with his saddle (which actually fits great) and whenever mounting he would grit his teeth and throw his head up. Now he doesn't throw a fuss for the saddle and is great for mounting. He gobbles up all his grain and is a much better hay eater now as well. Granted he has been on very nice grass all summer which has been great for his stomach too, but this stuff won't freeze (not a liquid) and it works great.

Great product. I use this in addition to omeprazole and the combination has worked great for my horse.

This is the best supplement I have ever used. The ONLY supplement that I know acctually works because the difference was amazing! So happy the vet reccomended this, my mare is all better :)

My picky, picky mare will eat this easily! And it helps tremendously with her ulcers. Many of the typical signs are diminished, including her nervous pacing.

We had a horse that scoped positive for ulcers and completed the full course of gastrogard. He was also placed on Neigh-Lox Advanced to help speed the process, and then kept on it as a preventative. 2 months later we re-scoped and the ulcers are actually worse. I just removed them from our smart pak, I can't justify this crazy price for a product that didn't work.
