These are amazing. No salt. No sugar. Great for many foods. The only problem is you cant see all the choices. I have made many people think I am a great cook. I have even boxed several favors and given for gjfts.
I don't eat spicy food very often and am very sensitive to it. But this stuff has NO HEAT at all. It's just salty cheese. It is good mixed into plain brown rice or plain mashed potatoes, but it doesn't make them spicy at all. I'm baffled that other reviewers complain that it is painful to inhale it. Well, yes, it's a food, not something to inhale!!! It's just like any other powdered cheese or powdered sugar or other powdered item. You put it on food, not up your nose! For anyone who missed the message in preschool, here's a Public Service Announcement: Don't shove food up your nose!
First I gotta say… this is like sneezing powder to me. Not sure why but whenever I sprinkle this on my microwaved popcorn I sneeze like crazy. Aside from that, it tastes more like nutritional yeast than jalapeño. Not very cheesy, not very spicy but It is convenient if you want to add a little more flavor to your popcorn.
I like spicy but this stuff makes me cough! Wish I could use it but unfortunately I cannot take the "after cough" yikes!
No good. I can taste it a bit but it doesn't go all over. Ya shake it on shake it up then shake it on and shake it up. Still doesn't go everywhere, but cumps here and there. But what really works , fund an Amish market and get their fresh dried stuff. Their jalapeno dust is awsome on popcorn and more. Trust me, you see something you like buy a big container you'll use whatever on alot.
This product had potential unfortunately it's way too salty to even get the flavor on the popcorn. I'll keep for emergencies where I don't have butter but will never buy it again. I have it 2 star because it has zero calories and I would use it if I was counting calories. Over all it's not edible as is. Taste like salty junk food isle popcorn .
For whatever reason, this seasoning makes me sneeze! This is the first time I've tried it and it just wasn't my cup of tea, so to speak. I found that I had to use quite a lot on my bowl of popcorn to even taste it. Then, when I did use enough to taste, every bite made me sneeze, and I'm not sure why. The taste was there, but not what I expected at all. Not really impressed with this.
I thought people were exaggerating, but no, it really is like being a powder form of pepper spray. You have to chew without breathing because it will irritate your nose especially, and throat. It's hard to eat popcorn when you're coughing and sneezing… The flavor itself is terrible, it's very light so you have to put a good amount on to barely even taste it. The spicy capsaicin far outweighs the flavoring, as powdered form it's constantly going up your nose while chewing. I can't believe they sell this stuff, it's literally powder pepper spray.
If you like coughing and sneezing then this is the seasoning for you! It was like inhaling jalepeno shards into your lungs with every bite of popcorn.
The Cheesy Jalapeño flavor makes me cough! It also tastes like chemicals. Try the other flavors instead.
